How did Shaun Alexander not win the Heisman?

He ripped us. It was surreal watching him run. Not flashy, didn’t even really have great moves. He would move just enough to avoid getting hit hard, and he would just keep going. He was very efficient with his movements. I can only describe him as a smooth operator. He was a great one.

Imagine believing you have the best collection of RB's in a league of great running backs and still achieving next to nothing with them. Auburn sucks. Both UGA and Bama know it.

Imagine being ignorant enough to post what you just did.

AU got snubbed out of the mythological NC in 83 with Bo.

AU went undefeated in 93 with Stephen Davis but was on probation so couldn't play post season.

AU went undfeated with Lac and Ronnie and got snubbed again

Tre Mason carried them to a NC and was 13 seconds from winning it all with a team that went 3-9 the year before.

Kerryon Johnson won an SEC Championship, SEC POY, beat two #1s within 3 weeks of each other and got hurt or AU would have ran the table the rest of the way.

A lot of Georgia’s best pro backs we typically don’t crow about, and do crow about guys that have been ok pro backs.

Rodney Hampton, Mack Strong, Olandis Gary, Verron Haynes, & Lars Tate had contributing pro careers. I think Sinkwich, Trippi, and Terrell Davis are in Canton.

But the guys that get talked about are Herschel, Chubb, Garrison, Gurley, Sony, Swift, & Knowshon…and theyve had up and down pro careers. Now I think Swift and Chubb have a chance to be 10 year top 10 backs.

Cook fell into a great situation in Buffalo.m, we’ll see what he does.

Didn't play on a team in contention but yes, in 1999 he was the best player in America. Ron Dayne was good, Alexander was the best.
