It's hard to compare Walker to today because the RB was just a different beast. It's rare an offense centers around an RB; back then it was common.

Henry is on the other end of that spectrum - the rare RB that has been a feature of an offense in modern day.

Not that I'm trying to make a debate of "Henry = Walker", but rather taking both out of the equation because of their roles (the other three had expanded backfields, more passing, etc), then it depends on what you look at more.

How much each offense relied on them?
Who won more awards?
Pure statistical comparisons?
SOS comparisons?
Do we compare who didn't even make the list (like Eddie Lacy)?

Long story short:
If you're a UGA fan, you'll say Georgia
Bama fan, you'll say Bama
Hate one of those two teams, you'll pick the other

Completely neutral? Let's face it, if you're 100% neutral you're not posting on here.

I'm pretty sure USC has everyone beat nationally.

UGA is RBU-1a....USC is RBU-1b.

I know Marcus Allen personally...he even acknowledges that UGA edges out USC by a hair.

UGA is in the middle of the pack in the SEC when it comes to most 1,000-yard rushers.

How did Shaun Alexander not win the Heisman?

And how did Ingram win it?

And I think Faulk has more SB rings than that entire list....combined

I’ve been on the mobile version of this site for years and didn’t realize until the other day that I am still using a RBU picture from way back during the Bielema days over there.

Because he was the best back in the country, couldn't be stopped, and shared time with Richardson on the best team in country that didn't have a passing attack worth a shite, and Ingram carried the offense on his back on his way to the national championship. That's why.

Just remember AU is on a 2 game losing streak to South Carolina whenever you need another one.

He had his coming out party against LSU my freshman year. I think he just scored again.

Must not follow college football. Quite a few 1000 yard rushers were not even listed for Arkansas

In 2016 I posted this:

Arkansas has the most 1,000+ yard rushing seasons by a running back over the last decade (10).

Arkansas has the highest YPC for the top 10 rushing seasons for a team over the last decade (5.998 YPC).

Arkansas has had 2 RB's in the last decade earn 1,000+ yards in their frosh, soph, and jr seasons (McFadden and Collins). Only 1 other SEC player has ever done that (Hershel).

3 times in the last decade Arkansas has had 2 RB's on the same team earn over 1,000 yards (not sure if this leads the SEC but I'm guessing it does).
