USC, easily.

LSU woulda beat their arse. without self inflicted wounds we blow out OU.

now USC in 2004 woulda beat LSU 2004 no doubt.

USC was not even impressive against a michigan team who was nowhere near OU or LSU. GTFO gump.

Those Carroll USC teams (from 2002-2008) were money in big games. When they lost, it was either them playing down to their competition or Vince Young turning into God in cleats. The only loss in that era that doesn't fall into this bucket was a tough loss on the road against a top 5 Oregon in 2007.

They crushed Michigan. The final score (28-14) doesn't do that game justice. USC had at least a two score lead for the entire final 35 minutes. Michigan was never in it.

Sneaky Pete had an insane record in big games but remember this would've in NOLA. I think LSU was playing better football at the end of the season.

It would have been a great game and I’d give a slight edge to LSU. Too bad we’ll never know!

No Ole Miss team in history would've beat that USC team... or that LSU team for that matter

I'm confident in saying that USC-LSU would have been one for the ages. The LSU-OU Sugar Bowl was such a boring game. It was also a very strange game where LSU dominated, yet OU had a chance to tie at the end.

They lost to cal

Wasn’t that the cal team with Aaron Rodger’s marshawn lynch and desean Jackson. Pretty sure on the right night that squad potentially beating a lot of teams.

Only Rodgers. Lynch was a freshman in ‘04 and Jackson in ‘05.
