The 2.7 is fine if they have 99th percentile scores

Stay tuned for the Jeep Eagle Aloha Bowl between Georgia Tech and Stanford. We'll get you out to Honolulu shortly.

I love Hawaii!!!!!
Raiders win. Should have beaten Houston last week. Texans were bailed out on a PI call in 4th quarter.

Taco Tech vs Georgia may not be a ratings bonanza. It could also turn into a blowout.
Agreed. Hire a veteran coach to steer the ship for 3-4 years and then hire a rising star.
It's going to be cold in the parking lot. :dunno:
It's sad, but this is the new reality. College football is a corporate TV sport now and it's all about the playoff. The Big Ten probably doesn't even want this rivalry anymore.
Keeping an exact P/L statement on football wagers.

"These teams deserve to be in the playoff, but it's not fair to make them actually play playoff games."

Got it.

JMU and Tulane would not have made the CFP this year under my criteria
Probably correct. It takes a $20 million payroll to compete today. I don't see how a Tulane or JMU can fund at that level.

I do think a top 12 ranked G5 school should get in.
Right. We're on the same page. Neither Tulane nor JMU would have qualified for the CFP this year under our criteria.
I’m not sure what the argument here is…give playoff spots away for charity to lesser teams so they can get their faces beat in?

Let the G5 still qualify for the big CFP if and only if it has a team ranked in the top 12. But we can also have a separate playoff for the G5.
JMU and Tulane are better teams than we are seeing today. They are both playing top 10 teams on the road in late December after playing 13 games. It's an impossible situation.

I think we do need a separate playoff, but a G5 school can still qualify for the big CFP if ranked in the top 12.
