Interesting. How do we do that?

Expansion is about the money. Pac 12 gone, ACC weakened, all those moves the Big 12 made and they get only 25 Million a year. ACC only gets 30 for 10 more years. That means all the money will be fought over by the SEC and BIG 10.

Attempting to protect your lil patch-o-dirt from accomplished Landthieves is futile.

They ought to be thankful for us after the shite show the SEC was this year.

Yep. I get that. Part of the fun of college football to me is when each conference has strong teams. It makes the bowl games that much more interesting. I’m excited to be joining the SEC and in a conference that will survive, but I still hate seeing the other conferences relegated to “B”league.

I live west of Austin and grew up in west Texas. Nothing out here aligns with CA. You must think Beto is a cool dude.

No, but I do think Abbott is a gimpy frickwit. And he and his walleyed minions are doing their best to frick over the state.

And that your Austin neighbors must think you suck, agroid.

Because we are Southern Gentlemen and there is a code of honour that we share. We root for our SEC brethren unless that fellow Sec team winning directly and adversely impacts short term goals for our favourite SEC programme.

End of discussion.

Holy frick that's retarded. And you misspelled "favourite".

It's going to be fun for Texas to beat most of you guys most of the time.

Frick you, this is a bad deal for the conference and the fans, which built this conference. I could care less about playing texas and ou, except in the playoffs

Well had you not poached two of our mid-tier teams this probably wouldn’t have happened.

From OU’s perspective the Big 12 became a liability as soon as four of the founding members left. It became inevitable that OU and TX were going to leave. Had it not been SEC it would have been Big 10.

What that really means is my team is mediocre and has a bad record but it is all good because if Bama and Georgia win it makes us look a lot better.

Not speaking for LSU per se. That is more for the Arkansas, Mississippi schools, SC, etc. who are constantly looking to excuse their losses.

Bringing them in destroyed what little was left of the historic footprint of the conference.

I don't think this is a legitimate complaint. Texas was a member of the Confederacy and Austin was the capitol of a Confederate State.

In Oklahoma, pretty much all the tribes either had treaties siding with the Confederacy or were sympathetic to it. The Indians who didn't like the Confederacy scurried off to Kansas.

Texas is legit for the SEC and Oklahoma has about the same claim as Kentucky and Missouri do from an historical perspective.
