I've always felt that he will leave us eventually. I dont know if there are many college programs that could offer him enough to draw him away from a program like LSU but a major league job could be intriguing. Hes already won 2 national championships and is young enough to test the MLB waters and if he doesnt like it or succeed he could go back and finish his career in college. I think as long as Skip is still with us, Jay will be here. Once Skip is gone, Jay will be more open to leaving.

That oddly shaped human gets me excited about program building. Can't wait to see who makes up his staff and players he gets from the portal. Also extremely interested to see if he retains any current players and how much of a difference his coaching will improve said player.
