Bama's mulligan game did it for me.

The mulligan game that Bama clearly demonstrated its superiority? The mulligan game where Bama shut out LSU? The mulligan game where Bama held LSU to 92 TOTAL yards of offense?

Yeah, I'd probably be upset about it myself.

I love LSU and I never really liked any other SEC teams, but I would generally support them against teams from other conferences. But I've always disliked Bama, and I usually pulled against them no matter who they played. And I must admit that the whole Saban thing greatly intensified my hatred for them.

With few exceptions, such as Kentucky vs Wisconsin basketball in the final 4, I've always rooted for the SEC to win ooc games.

EXCEPT for Florida, I will never root for those pieces of shite, no matter who they're playing. frick every person in Gainesville, hope they all get uppercutted into a pit of spikes, Mortal Kombat style. I truly wish them nothing but misery and pain for all eternity.

They are the worst humans on the planet, I would sooner convert to Islam than root for Florida. I would rather be a dinner guest for cannibals in New Guinea than see those slimy pieces of disease ridden shite enjoy a moment of happiness.

When I'm elected president, I'm drawing a circle around the city of Gainesville, and napalming the bitch, and laughing as they scream in agony while jerking my dick like a mental patient.

I'm not fond of UF, is what I'm trying to say here.

I used to root SEC around 10 years ago. That was before I really traveled and was made to come in contact with the rest of you fairy dicks. No more.

I'm an LSU fan. The rest of the conference can burn.

Cheering for other SEC teams always had a selfish motivation. Other teams in the conference look good and it makes your team look good. We've been clearly on top for awhile now so the motivation went away

This is pretty much it. For decades, southern football was looked upon as inferior. Schools like Notre Dame, USC, Michigan, etc, would regularly pass I sec teams for bowls and national championships. So that banded the conference together.

Now we are on top and get the benefit of the doubt by the polls and media, so now WR can cheer against each other without it possibly hurting our own team.

It happened during the streak. We used to have to compete against all the other conferences for a chance to get into the championship game. When USC got a split national title with LSU in 2003 and when Auburn got left out entirely in 2004, we wanted the SEC to beat everyone so that we can prove we were the best conference and deserved national titles. After 2006 UF vs OSU, the media started to see the difference on the field. After the run of all the National championships, the SEC champion was going to be in the BCSNCG no matter what. It no longer became a competition against the other conferences, it became a competition among each other. Especially now with the playoff, nobody gives a shite about the other conferences until the postseason. Now its just win the conference and you are in.

Thus the hate recently vs before. I now root for every SEC team to lose every game except Vandy, UK, and UGA.

Alabama wasn't viewed like this. Florida wasn't looked down upon in the 90s(outside of the Nebraska rapping). Tennessee wasn't looked down upon in the 90s

Though, honestly, it was probably due to Coach Bryant owning the conference for so long. Success breeds accusations of cheating (just play a few rounds of COD online and you'll see it - now imagine it on a scale spanning decades).

It's the lie AU fans have clung to like a life preserver.

When I root for or against a team it doesn't seem to have any affect on the outcome.

What am I doing wrong?

Because I would certainly like to have a little more control over who wins and loses around here.

As a lifelong Mizzou fan, I was raised to hate Oklahoma and Kansas. When we came to the SEC, I was a bit bewildered on who to hate on.

So, I settled on whatever team wears orange. Or blue. Or crimson. Or red. Mostly orange, though.

When Missouri wins, and Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Kansas all lose, it's been a hell of a good Saturday afternoon.

I can only speak for myself. Of course I have always hated bama, but my hate for the rest of the SEC didn't blossom until I started using football message boards.

I always root against the sec. Bama winning the national championship or other large bowls does nothing to help LSU. LSU winning helps LSU.

Bama and Auburn losing the last two NCG's and the SEC West teams wetting the bed in their bowl games has popped the SEC's air of invincibility and it's reflected in the polls.

You might say you don't give a shite but when a one or two loss SEC Champion LSU gets shut out of the playoffs, then damn straight you'll care.

Yep, that was not an interception. Anyone could see that guy was way outta bounds.
