re: Chips are down: Do you have "supper" or "dinner"?

The Coast Guard uses the terms "morning meal," "noon meal," and "evening meal" to prevent confusion since units typically have members from various parts of the country. Midnight meals for underway cutters are called "midrats," for midnight rations. I always thought the terminology fairly humorous...

Good thing for Bama that uga is a rent-a-win...
Bama spanking the Dawgs in the SECCG really did a number on you, didn't it?

So you're saying that Appalachian State was better than auburn?

Prayers sent for your current situation, and I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.

I moved back to Alabama after retiring in 2010 but still get the urge to move every few years and am ready to move to the coast - probably somewhere between Gulf Shores and Panama City or the Tampa Bay area. I still enjoy the excitement of moving to new places and experiencing everything those new places have to offer such as restaurants, parks, etc.
That was my second freshman year and I was at Legion Field that night... probably my favorite Iron Bowl memory.

Boz, I apologize for lashing out at you personally last night in my frustration... you are obviously not the reason why our defense can't get a critical stop when needed, or why our offense can't move the ball consistently, or why our special teams are a liability... I know you try to keep us informed and we all appreciate that. It's just frustrating to watch football on a Saturday and see MULTIPLE teams that are better than Alabama when we've recruited so well for so long.

Well?

You had me convinced that this team was for real and would win out. They are nothing but soft, entitled wannabe's that will win nothing.
Whoever this "Boz" character is he obviously knows nothing about the Alabama football team.

This team ain't got what "it" is... no offense when needed, no defense when needed, no special teams when needed... I don't really know what else to say.
When, during this entire season, has the defense stopped an offense when they needed to? Not ONCE, in my recollection.

You cant compare a team that took the field with 35 scholarship players, a WR playing QB and an interim HC to a team that ducked Wake Forest.
Sure I can... the OP said lsu had a better bowl performance than did atm; getting blown out by 3+ TDs by a team that had a losing record in the B12 is bad - real bad.

Mizzou, TN, gators, Moo State, ole miss, AU and LSU.......... they all had better Bowl Games performances than the aggies.
I dunno, I'd say lsu's beatdown by a Kansas State team that was sub-.500 in the B12 and atm's cowardice were comparable.
Will Shane Lee get any PT going forward? I remember he seemed a step slow as a freshman a couple of seasons ago but that could have been from not knowing the defense as much as anything.

You're not very good at this.
