OU just out recruited Ohio state and most sec programs after a 6-6 season from the big 12. BV is going to go in very dry on the SEC. Bama, Texas and UGA are the only schools that will recruit at the level of OU going forward.

Lincoln Riley wouldn’t have bailed from OU...

I think he was on his way out anyway.

Yep the way he was recruiting California HS recruits to OU then when he got the USC job, he then got those California players on OU roster to transfer to USC.

You mean you didn't know OU hasn't stop recruiting a top 15 or so almost every year. Where were you all those years?

I have never been to Ohio but was curious on how much it sucks. It seems Ohioans don't want to live there.

UGA would be playing Oklahoma in Norman, come September, and folks wouldn't be singing the blues about the Dawgs' 2023 schedule quite as much.

Tennessee’s blowout loss had little to do with South Carolina or any other outside events and everything to do with internal bickering between the offense and defense over Jeremy Banks which is why he didn’t play. Tennessee had no business in the playoffs regardless after the injury to Hooker

Saban wouldn’t have been absolutely rustled and thrown a temper tantrum over recruiting because Aggy decided to try to buy a title while their nearly nonexistent window to end 1939 was closing with their big brothers joining the conference if Texas & OU didn’t decide to leave the BIG12 for the SEC

What in Gods name does this even mean?

Texas wouldn't have given up then 'T' logo for solely using the Horns logo, if Texas and OU didn't decide to leave the BIG12 for the SEC.

Because here in SEC the 'T' stands for Tennessee and Tennessee alone.

Because it is invariably cold in the Midwest and there is literally nothing to do. People in Nebraska will watch the Huskers go 0-12 rather than ... what? What is the alternative to watching football in any zipcode in the Midwest not in Chiraq?

I believe the real reason Riley left is thaf he felt he could recruit better players out west which is farther from the truth. He also got a lot of perks including his daughters getting free tuition from usc …. Which most thibk this isn’t much but usc business school entry is 250k min. But the joke was on Riley ….Venables just out recruited and finished 4th. Riley out of top 10.
Real OU fans understood without change OU wasn’t winning it all . We have a great all around coach right now and we will be a force in 2-3 years when our roster depletion catches up . We lost 2 5 star qbs and 2 5 star wrs …. Our best lb and 4 nfl players from our dline …. This year will be a better barometer of how we usually are .

Blah Blah bullet point Blah

Ohio State has ONE postseason win against the SEC. In the entire history of college football. One. It would be two, but you vacated the Sugar Bowl win against Arkansas.
