According to "The Game's" Ryan C. Fowler, Alabama set the highest GPA in program history last fall with a team average of 3.24. And now the program just broke its own record with a total team GPA of 3.29, which included 103 players earning a GPA over 3.0... (The Spun)

Anyone else find it suspicious that all these different teams suddenly have "record-breaking" team GPAs? I highly doubt that all these dudes are just some rhodes scholars who can also run a 4.3 40. Teams are definitely cooking the books

Grade inflation is a well documented phenomenon across all majors and all universities, but some majors and some universities are significantly worse than others about it.

As a Bama fan, this might be a reason we lost to crap teams. Keep your grades low and your winning higher PLEASE! lol

I do not believe that every member of tge Alabama football team has at least a 3.0. Sorry.

Oof, this doesn't look good for LSU's education. It's an average. So maybe someone got a 3.75 and someone else got a 2.9, thus averaging around a 3.3. Now do that same concept for all the kids on the team and they got that 3.29. Not really hard.
