There are few words to describe how bad Arkansas has been the last five years. Totally embarrassing

What makes this more pathetic? Our back-up QB was starting his first ever game.

This was just sad. Alabama could have scored 100 easily.

A few amusing tidbits:
1. Ole Miss scored on their first drive (their only points of the game), so for 1 minute and 10 seconds they held the lead.
2. Alabama had scored 49 points by the half.
3. Alabama didn't punt until the 4th quarter

One of those rare occasions where a team loses by nearly 60 and everyone agrees it could have been worse... a lot worse.

Every time a similar thread appears, I'm reminded of how astonishing Arkansas' fall has been in the eight years or so since Petrino, and how bad Bielema must've left that place.

I know it hasn't been fun. I sincerely hope you guys can get that program headed back in the right direction soon.

Auburn - 2012 (vs Alabama)

It was the final game of the Chizik administration and the players had all completely checked out.

This is another game that could have easily been 100-0.

Alabama's starters scored TD's on the first 7 possessions and it was 49-0 early in the 3rd quarter and both teams just ran the clock out from there.

This was one of two games in recent memory where I truly felt that one team could have legitimately scored 100 points if they wanted to. OU had their starters out by halftime.

2016 Michigan/Rutgers was the other one. Michigan stopped throwing the ball in the second quarter and won 78-0. Rutgers had 39 total yards and 2 first downs.

You know the historical nature of your program when these numbers make you happy. And they very much do.

3 by Bama
2 by Auburn

The last time Arkansas was ranked was the week going into the 56-3 loss vs Auburn in 2016. Rough way to bow out.

Thanks for sharing this info. Alabama could have easily had this statistic changed if 2018 Clemson hadn't taken their foot off the gas at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The UGA game, TExas AM game and the Bama game could have all bee 100-0 if they would have wanted to

Vanderbilt

I remembered when Alabama scored 59 on them while running for 500 yards (496 when you take into account mercy knees at the end) in 2017. I rewatched it a bit (Vandy was 3-0 and had beaten a ranked team, then had that guy during his interview say Alabama should look out).

Jalen's throws were a bit rough and Alabama definitely throttled down, but I don't think I've seen a DL so thoroughly dominated as I did in that one.

Is there a more lopsided win in the SEC over the last 20 years than that one? Has an SEC school ever been outgained by 600+ yards?
