Let's face it. If Hightower and Upshaw where healthy last year this team would have repeated. They are healthy this year and they are right on track.

I guess when Upshaw sacked or rushed the QB that does not count as a blitz. No they did not blitz with their cornors or safeties early last night because of the speed of FL WR. When a WR gets behind a DB, you are not in prevent.

How many times did AJ throw deep ? I remember at least three overthrows on fly patterns. What game were you watching ?

No that doesn't count as a blitz. Upshaw is a Jack linebacker. His job is to pass rush from the edge. Upshaw hands are on the ground most the time almost like another defensive lineman.

Also for the other guys on here discussing the prevent defense. I cleary stated the defense Alabama was playing right before Brantley injury was prevent and not the one where Debose caught the TD pass. Alabama was in prevent right before the half when Florida was moving the ball a little right before Brantley injury. They were trying to keep the ball in front of them and make the tackle. Others took that as the secondary being weak.

Your secondary is overrated, but overall right where you should be. You struggle throwing and defending the deep ball, and have for 2 years.

1 deep bomb has been caught on Bama all year and it was on a perfect throw that was fairly well covered. If ALabama's secondary is overrated then you need to preface that by saying LSU's is overrated. (I think neither are, but 500 pass yards says a lot more than one deep ball.)

Well said from a fan of a team that couldn't stop the ole miss offense...let alone alabama. If my team got beat down that badly I'd probably say the same thing....only thing is you don't understand you guys suck on defense. Another thing you don't understand is that LSU has already played the top team in the country in scoring offense, and the #13 team.....the other three teams have combined for a total of 16 points....so you don't know what the hell you are talking about....but then again you are an arkansas fan.....all y'all have is opinion...certainly no SEC banners or BCS wins......that's what second tier conference teams do...they get skull fricked by a team, then worship them....makdes them feel better about their own team...lmao

I looked at buying a house way over there. I honestly wasn't that impressed. Why in the world would someone live across that damn bridge, if you work and spend most of your time in New Orleans?

Probably the best team in the nation right now. Still, in Sabanesque like fashion though will under achieve against some middle tier team at some point this season and get challenged.

When you are in a prevent you rush three and drop back Upshaw. That is not how it happened.

My overall opinion is that Alabama is a very good team, but my overall opinion would be higher if it wasn't for Upshaw trying to take every cheap shot he can get away with.

How quickly you forget what happened the last time we played @ Auburn with a vastly better team. Outside of LSU, Auburn is the best team we will play the rest of the year. Auburn will fight hard for that game.

If you call and ask nicely, and download a "How do I get to Baton Rouge" map on mapquest, you can come to Baton Rouge next February and view the Crystal trophy.

And by that time, hopefully all of AU's young players will be vastly improved and ready to play. Now, I think Bama will win that game, but to say there's no way AU can pull the upset at home is foolish

Alabama has 5 weeks to get ready for LSU (Vandy, Ole Miss, UT and a bye week) and the game in BDS. I am afraid the Tigers are going to get beaten badly. Sorry!!!
