This about Trump or Kelly?
I can’t wait for the downvotes.

quote:Exactly this. “No child left behind” indeed.
The fact that this is something that needed to be addressed in the first place is fricked up.
The southern states especially have a huge education problem. What’s worse is that those states don’t seem to care.

quote:Last two games especially, he’s played good. Still has a tendency to hesitate, and sometimes still takes bad angles, but he’s improved a lot since the beginning of the season.
He played great against LSU.
quote:I get the same reaction from folks when I mention Lawson. He’s just objectively not good. Injury or not, he shouldn’t be starting if he can’t press/shoot gaps and takes awful angles.
When I say this people here get angry with me, insult me, etc...
As the defensive signal caller, I get. But maybe he should pass that off.
Just watched it, and he addressed my comment about pass pro with Hill and he’s right. If we’re about 80 for pass anyway, who cares if the play is given away by Hill being in.
That was tough to watch tbh. 75 is just bad.

Oh yeah, Hill’s got some pretty soft hands for a back, which is a blessing. He also has tree trunks for legs lol

quote:Exactly. I wondered if they were keeping Jam in because he’s better in pass pro, and swapping him out gives away the play, but… ugh. Jam just hasn’t been it this year for us.
(b) Backs were bad - mainly Jam. Just flat out missed 3-4 holes that should have been 5-7 yard runs with a 1 on 1 with a safety to get more, and instead he danced around early and they ended with 0-2. They aren't 3 wide yard holes, but they are gaps that good college backs have to see and immediately press. And he just isn't doing it.
quote:Absolutely. I’ve seen him make a mistake in pass protection once that I remember. He kept with the PA fake and didn’t recognize the free rusher to chip. But he cleaned that up in the SCar game pretty nicely, and did a good job in the LSU game as well.
(c) Hill presses the hole.
Defense is good. Not great, but good. Got some guys who are becoming dogs.
Offensive playcalling is mind boggling at times. Having long-developing routes when you only need 3-5 yards for a first is weird.
OL cannot run block, and Jam Miller is too hesitant.
But the fact that this team keeps finding ways to win is impressive. They could’ve given up after FSU, but absolutely didn’t.

If LSU was as concerned about slowing down their inevitable decline as they are about officiating, they’d have a decent program. But alas…
They’re awful at run blocking. I’m not sure why.

I’m repeating what everyone has already said, but Hill has to be RB1. His pass blocking/chipping has gotten better, and he runs with purpose.

If you’re trying to bleed the clock, a first down usually helps

It’s insane to me that we had the middle wide open, the TE doesn’t sit in the zone, and Ty has to wait on these long arse route trees to develop.
Grubb is fricking crazy.

Long developing routes. wtf. JUST GET A FIRST DOWN.

Bending but not breaking. I’ll take it.
Now if the offense would score some damn points.
