We still haven't played anybody. Florida is talented but very young and it was obvious after about five minutes that they were way outclassed last night.

I see what ur saying but man... Bama is as strong as LSU and definatelt deserves a #2 ranking.

great post. I'm thinking they should end the season early......give the trophy to bama......they are clearly superior in every phase. They just beat a great florida team last night...there is no question now. To save some of the lesser teams from injury, they should just not play bama and give them the games....

In all seriousness, that it is very and good, and the scary thing for our opponents is, that this team is really improving and gelling. The OL is coming together, the DL is getting better and better, its the deepest team we may have ever had. This is potentially the best team that Saban has ever had, which is incredible.

The special teams need to improve, mostly on KO, the punting was pretty good last night. The yound QB has the potential, but needs to continue to improve.

i think AJ needs to get more accurate past 15 yards

OL/RBs look great. WRs are above average but maze is always a threat going deep

your D didn't get pressure against the pass yesterday as much as i thought you'd get. i think part of that was watching for RBs coming out in the flat. really good against the run, though.

your kickoffs are pretty weak

Well if it is the case that Penn St, Arkansas and Florida are nobodies, then we won't play a single decent game the whole season except for LSU at home. LSU outclassed Oregon and WVU as well. That does not mean those teams were nobodies. Alabama and LSU have both done exactly what title contenders are supposed to do against quality teams: dominate them and make them look like nobodies.

QB and Secondary are the weak link to this team. The problem is the SEC does not have a team that can exploit the secondary with a good QB and a strong running game. FL would have been more successful if they had a threat to counter bama's blitz. Once Brantley went down, game over. LSU has the defense to slow TR down, but do they have an offense that can take advantage of the secondary ?

Once again what game were you guys watching? Alabama secondary played very well against Arkansas. Adams had trouble getting separation from Menzie. Penn State, Florida, and Arkansas all came out in their first two drives and moved the ball well, because they all showed a different look than what Alabama defense anticipated. It's called a script that all OC's have set to take advantage of what the opposing defense has not seen. The only reason Florida was able to move the ball a little before BRantley injury is because Alabama was playing a little prevent.

Alabama rarely blitzed Florida. The sacks on Brantley before his injury were four man rushes. Once again what game were you watching?

The game wasn't over when Brantley went down. The game was over as soon as Nick Saban knew Florida couldn't not run the football and Alabama could. The Brantely injury is actually a result of Florida's inability to gain any yards on the ground.

AJ is not a weak line either. Alabama has yet have a reason to open their offense up. The have beaten teams by running, screens, and very smart plays by AJ.

I'm glad he's overthrowing and hoping the WR can catch up rather than underthrowing and giving picks. But he has missed a few open ones.

I wish they were pretty weak. Cade is a better tackler than kicker.

Barring key injuries they should be playing for the National Championship.

Bama isn't overrated. We will find out for sure when you play Green Bay in the Super Bowl. Wait, the Packers aren't a lock quite yet.

Anyone who argues at this point on who is better between Alabama and LSU are just wasting their time. They are both heads and shoulders better than anyone in the SEC, and are both national contenders. Who cares who is ranked higher at this point. If they are both as good as they look, this will all work itself out Nov. 5th.

Without a doubt. Our deep ball offense is non-existent.

Agreed. But our QB has not made an accurate deep pass in a big game all year.

I think you have Alabama mixed up with someone else. Brantley and Driskel were hit nearly every play after the 1st quarter to the tune of both getting hurt. Upshaw alone had 3 sacks.

I still am not sure if Alabama has a good football team. I'm going to see how we play against Vandy and Ole Miss before I jump to any conclusions.

They are atrocious. How is Cade Foster our long FG specialist when he can't even kick a kickoff past the 10 or 15 yard line? I was all in favor of Saban starting to offer special teams scholarships to HS players, but they have all been busts in my book. Foster is good for coverage due to his linebacker experience, but a D-1 kicker he is not.
