Huge pipe dream to expect him to turn down over $2M
An even bigger one for Turang to turn down 3+ mill. But I am hoping anyway lol. If the miracle happens, print the shirts!

There's really no reason to hold out hope for any 1st rounder, things just have to completely align for things to work a college's way there

We for sure lose a lot of pitching, our CF, and our C. Maybe more to come. Our schedule should be significantly more difficult next season with series @ LSU, @ Arkansas, and @ Auburn, not to mention we probably don’t avoid Florida in consecutive seasons. I very much expect us to be middle of the pack with a shot of maybe hosting a regional if pitching is better than expected. If we can’t make a super, it’d be shitty that it’d be Year 3 for the #1 class we brought in, and the most we would’ve achieved with that class is a measly Hoover title, but hopefully pitching shows up

eturning position players at least, MSU is going to have to find a good bit of pitching you are losing: Pilk (96.2 IP, 17 starts) Smith (21.0 IP, lowest ERA on team) Billingsly (71.1 IP, 17 starts) France (58.2 IP) Neff (45.1 IP) You had a ton of pitchers get a lot of work this year.

Really will all depend on how the guys who are out with Tommy John look. There are 3-5 guys who sat out (including our 14 saves closer from a year back) with injury.

How those guys recover and pitch post injury will make the difference between just a good team and an elite one. Well and the coach.

Those are the big questions, guys coming back from TJ and the coach. If both work out it will be another great year. Just never know how guys look post TJ.

Yeah I know, but the Brewers have only 6 mill to work with to sign all their picks, and honestly, who wants to play on the Brewers?

It's not offseason for us yet and draft classes aren't finalized. No point in even talking about it right now.

If Hunter Stovall returns, we bring back our entire lineup. Lose a lot on the mound though.

Don’t worry, you’ll still beat Auburn.

If they do not sign him then their pool is essentially cut in half. He will sign.

We're probably going to fire our coach and hire a shrimp boat captain from the outskirts of Savannah who can really recruit.

what ya gonna say when that shrimp boat captain kicks y'alls arse in baton rouge this year?

like the auburn fans, the ole miss fans and the Arkansas and aggies making fun of Orgeron; he kicked all of their asses last year. he's rough and he has a raspy voice; guess what? he's a fricking football coach not a rocket scientist.

I can't even tell you who our coach will be, much less what the team will look like.

It's still too early, as we're waiting to see who stays and goes from the draft. We do lose a lot on the field (1B, 2B, SS, C, and RF) and even lose DH. Still not sure if Campbell and Murphy are returning. A lot depends on them. If not, we'll be having a whole new weekend rotation.

Sounds very similar to what LSU went through from 2017 to 2018.

After this year? With no coach named, and the interim being named Coach of the Year

They will probably wear white or gray uniforms with orange and blue accents. They will usually have an F or a Gator head somewhere on the uniform. They will look good as usual!!!

The good news is we have a lot of guys returning, and some good recruits coming in.

The bad news is we have a lot of the same guys (who underachived this year) returning, and need some recruits to step and and produce.

More seriously, we might have the best 1-2 punch we've had for a starting rotation with Doxakis and Lacy since Wacha and Stripling, but that won't be enough if the position players don't produce more in 2019 than they did in 2018.
