For everyone that thinks fighting back was the right play:

1.) the owner is a much bigger man than anyone on here realizes. I’m pretty big, but small next to him.

2.) even if Kevin started losing his son and every one that works for him would also jump me. His son was already an aggressor trying to start a fight.

3.) it then would be my word vs him and the bars word. A visitor vs a local when it came to discussions with the cops. I can promise you they’d side with the local bar owner.

4.) then I get to spend part of my trip in jail and would have other complications following that.

I really wish people would stop twisting it so people wont actually believe you. I also don’t have any kids since that seems to be a running rumor.

In 2023 I went to Rocco’s. Owner and his son approached me claiming I served minors shots. A Dad I didn’t know next to me was serving his son. It was a simple misunderstanding and I said let’s talk outside. He then grabbed me by my neck escorting me out and shoved me out the door. His son slapped drinks out of my Dad’s hands. Kind of starting off a Father’s Day trip poorly.

I wasn’t going to contact the police because people in Omaha said the Omaha police are worthless. Foreshadowing.. they weren’t wrong.

Through mutual friends I know the owner Kevin and his manager Pat McEvoy were running their mouths. So at that point I contacted the police. I brought up to them that people said they’d be lazy and do nothing. They assured me they wouldn’t. More foreshadowing.

It took the Omaha PD 65 days to request the video which is an adequate amount of time to delete. Which he did knowing I had contacted the police. The owner admitted to putting his hands on me, but that alone wasn’t enough to do anything the detective said.

Go support Rocco’s. Don’t support Rocco’s. I honestly don’t care. It’s a shitty business ran by shitty people. There’s much better places in Omaha that actually appreciate LSU fans and their support instead of only capitalizing on it.

I live in NWA and plan to drive up Monday because of work obligations. Not a bad drive. Idk many of my Arkansas friends making the trip this year like they normally do when they make it.

Lots of great bars in Omaha btw that appreciate LSU fans. Just to stay on topic. Barrett’s and Old Mattress are great.

I thought that. We have one of the better rotations in the country. But it’s also baseball and upsets happen. Look at Vandy.. Georgia.. Texas.. or other teams that many thought would be here.
