It looks like LSU is bringing in the top ranked class and along with it comes some outstanding pitchers and hitters that opted to stay in college. I predict we make the CWS next year. What about your team??

We're probably going to fire our coach and hire a shrimp boat captain from the outskirts of Savannah who can really recruit.

We'll know a lot more whenever we announce a new coach

The NCAA is printing the shirts now -
2019 National Champions
LSU

Ten years after it's last national title, LSU conquers Omaha again!

Vandy likely ends up with the top ranked class once again once the signing deadline passes. Anything less than Omaha next year will be a disappointment as 2019 looks to be one of Corbin's more talented teams.

Well I'm a Yankee fan and they look pretty damn good. As far as Tennessee goes, l don't know if they will ever fix baseball.

My crystal ball says that Ole Miss will make a good run in 2019, but then will fall off at the end of the season. The collapse may be over weeks or in a playoff series at the end of the year.

Didn't Vandy have a bunch of guys get drafted early in signing class? I wouldn't say that at all yet.

Looks like Weathers, Banfield, Green, Edwards & Hankins are all going to sign. Becker could also sign.

Northcut already signed.

I know you signed 11 Top 100 players...but that's 6 of them right there (Becker only one outside Top 100).

They did, which will narrow the gap between their large class that had 11 top 100 players in it, and that of LSU and UF. Some of those top 100 players have already indicated that they are coming to school.

Returning essentially everything and bringing in a top 5 class, should be stacked.

Could really be big if Ginn decides to come to school.

Tennessee will be better...but still not good by SEC standards. I would say they will move up to 9-10 in the conference and will make the SEC tourney.

Returning position players at least, MSU is going to have to find a good bit of pitching you are losing:

Pilk (96.2 IP, 17 starts)
Smith (21.0 IP, lowest ERA on team)
Billingsly (71.1 IP, 17 starts)
France (58.2 IP)
Neff (45.1 IP)

You had a ton of pitchers get a lot of work this year.

Huge pipe dream to expect him to turn down over $2M

Lose Casey Mize, Andrew Mitchell, and Calvin Coker but return Tanner Burns and Cody Greenhill on the mound.

We lose Luke Jarvis, Josh Anthony, and Jay Estes but return Will Holland, Eduardo Julien, Steven Williams and a bunch of freshmen talent.

I think we could make another similar run next year.

It's still too early, as we're waiting to see who stays and goes from the draft. We do lose a lot on the field (1B, 2B, SS, C, and RF) and even lose DH. Still not sure if Campbell and Murphy are returning. A lot depends on them. If not, we'll be having a whole new weekend rotation.

Thankfully though, Martin, Kjerstad, and Fletcher are returning. Our closer Matt Cronin will be returning as well. So that should give us a good core to build around.

A lot really depends on if Murphy and Campbell are returning. There is a lot of speculation that Campbell is coming back. After him, our weekend guys will probably be Bryce Bonnin and Cole Ramage. Rutledge transferred. Hunter Milligan is supposedly gonna have shoulder surgery. He was a promising lefty. There are other arms that haven't gotten much action.

Like I said, once the deadline passes, I suspect that Vandy will still have the top ranked class.

Bohannon has Bama moving in the right direction, but it will probably be another rough year for the Tide. Making the SEC tournament would be a victory in my eyes and good improvement even as the 11 or 12 seed.
