Arkansas and Georgia have pretty large hippy followings in their towns.

aTm is very progressive actually but when you round up all the gay texas fans and educate them together what else would you expect.

Anyone who knows anything about Ole Miss knows that today it's pretty damn liberal.

This, trying to over-correct for past wrong doings IMO.

South Florida is basically New York. Gainesville is a bit more southern than that, but I'd say it's still more liberal than most SEC towns.

Gainesville is like a New York/California/India/Mexico/Spain/Italy

IMO: (from most liberal to least)

Vandy
Missouri
Florida
Georgia
Arkansas

After this, they're all pretty conservative. I'd say the most conservative is probably LSU and TAMU.

Yep, I would say Arkansas, being in Fayetville is rather liberal in comparison to other SEC schools.

Florida, then Missouri. Ole Miss might be last

Ole Miss has been getting heavily politically correct over the years, so I doubt it.

I would guess UT, Mizzu and UK are in the next group because of their locations and their states.

Not saying Mizzou isn't liberal, because it is, but not being in the Deep South doesn't make a place liberal by default. Missouri has leaned republican for the last 4 elections in a row

Not much difference in Missouri people and Southerners, outside of St. Louis.

And the city of Columbia has always been a pretty liberal, tree hugging, bike lane loving, soda can recycling, park and trail building, education loving, public art spending, pollution eliminating, spend a lot of money type of place.

Lexington has a very popular gay mayor. Socially, the city and the university are very liberal. Together, they're a very blue island in a very red state.

Kentucker said it best, but majority of college campuses are liberal. Hell, even the facility at Ole Miss is liberal.

Kentucky very red state with Lexington with parts liberal due to facility at UK.

Ole Miss is the most conservative

Got harassed for playing rap music at the Grove more than once last year

Never ever got called on it in College Station. Also saw it in Tuscaloosa at a lot of tailgates like it was no big deal. OM fans had a giant stick up their arse
