A&M, sure, but I would wager that the student bodies at Auburn and State are more conservative than the one at Ole Miss.

I'd go:
1. Vandy
2. Mizzou
3. UF
4. UGA
5. Kentucky
6. Tennessee
7. Arkansas
8. LSU
9. South Carolina
10. Alabama
11. Ole Miss
12. Auburn
13. State
14. Texas A&M

How many people that say Vandy have actually spent time with the University? I was shocked reading all of the Vandy votes.

Nashville (like all cities) has a hipster scene, but The VU and VUMC I know and deal with is not liberal by any means.

IDK who would be the most liberal. I CAN say that A&M is definitely NOT the most.

Yeah but as far as public image is concerned, the prototypical Ole Miss student is the wealthy white male who's lived their entire life completely oblivious to the culture that enables their privilege.

I get that this is the perception, but the OP was dealing more with the reality of it all.

I'm not surprised to see people say that they think OM is really conservative. It is, but I wouldn't say it's more conservative than State, TAMU, or Auburn, and probably compares with Alabama as far as political leanings go.

It had nothing to do with the music, and more to do with the fact that you're an Aggie. We've played all sorts of music plenty of times.

God dammit, don't take their fricking bait and don't call them "faggy" for frick's sake. What are you, twelve?

In the past six years of growth (with a huge increase in Texans and state lottery scholarships) I think Arkansas has become less liberal.

Its definitely become more Greek-oriented for some reason.

Every county in NW Arkansas was red during the 2012 election.

Well, to be fair, consider the source of the opinion.

Obama took Fayetteville. Washington County apart from Fayetteville has been republican for decades.

Fayetteville can be pretty liberal. I wish it were less so, honestly. I like that Fayetteville supports weed, though.

Kentucky very red state with Lexington with parts liberal due to facility at UK.

At one time Lexington had the highest gay population by percentage in the country. Even higher than San Francisco area. Aside from current mayor several council members are as well so may still be true today. Lexington is loaded with lesbians.

Fayetteville city government has had open gays on the council and in other positions for decades. We've been gay-friendly since we there were 40k people in Fayetteville.

I'd agree Vanderbilt would be most liberal. Could not get over the complete body tats & multiple piercings of every other student when we were there last. Love Nashville, though.

Wait, what?

I was just on campus this past week and not sure where that is coming from. Vandy is like Duke with a dual campus of scholarship students (probably more liberal but many foreign) and dynastic old money who are smartly dressed and not liberal at all.

Liberalism and racism often go hand in hand. In my experience the most racist people I have ever known that judge people almost solely on color and actually use the n word are Democrats and liberals. This is especially true of many older liberals who often think of minorities as children that they need to take care of and aren't capable of being responsible for themselves. They are also raging hypocrites.

1.) Frick you.

2.) Being at UK now I can say that I only know conservatives, but then again I am only exposed to the Greek Community, the business college, and the Ag college. So take that for what it is worth.

I do believe that SCAR is, by far, the least liberal.

Vandy is, without a doubt, the most liberal.

SCAR is pretty conservative but it isn't as conservative as Clemson. The states with a split model of 2 big state schools that have one originally focused on liberal arts, law, and business while the other was focused on agriculture and engineering tend to go more liberal/conservative. A&M, Auburn, State, and Clemson fit this model. Louisiana, Tennessee, and Arkansas went for the one big school model. Georgia and Kentucky have their second big school in the major city of the state. Florida had the "men's school and the women's school" model.

IDK about that, where A&M is concerned.
I mean they have all those "DUDES" for cheerleaders, hanging all over each other, even during nationally televised games.
That's about as liberal as it gets and is far too progressive for my taste!

Florida, UGA, or Mizzou IMO.

I have not idea how to measure this.
