re: What is it like living in a state that is too crappy to have professional sports teams?

I was born and raised in Metro Memphis(The Arkansas side) I always repped the HOGS and Memphis music history. I used to be somewhat jealous Arkansas had no “big city’” I mean Memphis is next door in Tn. ….But Anyway, now that I’m older and wiser i have to say that there is more negatives than positives of having a big city in your state. For example, atlanta turned georgia blue as your balls. Also, pro sports are boring.

States don't have professional teams. Cities and Metro Areas have professional teams.

The Atlanta Braves are no more Macon or Brunswick's team than they are Anniston or Chattanooga's.

I bet Trump would know to use ‘worst’ not ‘worse’ there. When did superlatives stop being taught? Pretty sure I learned them early on in grade school.

But Trump does seem like the type that would use 10-15 exclamation points, so you have something in common with him.

Now back to the OP, I think it’s a stupid blob of shite in full, but the fact the Olympics were included makes me laugh. It’s not like any place has those games regularly. I mean I went to the Olympics in ATL and not so fondly remember a bomb going off. Thanks Georgia for letting it happen and the Floridian for pulling it off- y’all should be super proud of that- and your pro teams of course.

If it takes having a blue shithole of a town like Atlanta in it, I'm happy!

What is GA best beach, best lake, Rivers? Do they have anything that equates to Huntsville? Little River Canyon? Cathedral Caverns?

Both have shithole towns below the gnat line, but GA has more. One thing GA has that AL doesn't is the Okefenokee Swamp, I don't know if that is good or bad. Atlanta has become the biggest shithole of a town of any size in the South.

Do it then. Ga Beaches suck. Tybee Island is not a place most people plan trips around. The Mountains are nice, but on the level of North Alabama . Again, what do you have that can compete with Huntsville?

I have lived in GA on 5 seperate occasions, it is now becoming a hellhole and Atlanta is to blame.

Rio held the Olympics. Have you ever been to Rio? It is a complete shithole (much like many areas in Atlanta).

Getting the Olympics is hardly a checkmark on how much better a city is than any other.
