What is it like living in a state that is too crappy to have professional sports teams?

169This post isn’t directed towards South Carolina or Kentucky. South Carolina has Charleston and Kentucky has bourbon. So y’all are cool. I’m directing this post towards Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi. Why can’t y’all have nice things? Last year I witnessed the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs win championships. You will never get to experience that. I have been to the Olympics, the Super Bowl, NCAA final four, the MLB All Star game, the World Series, and the CFP title game. What do y’all do for fun when Bama football shuts down for the winter? Eat at the Piccadilly? Your states are literally the worst in America. You rank last in everything except obesity.

on 7/24/22 at 9:48 am to Uga AlumIsn't GA currently one of the worst states to raise a family, for hunger, especially among kids, for quality of life, and so on? It might rank 1 or 2 spots above the others you mentioned but not by much.

I am an Alabama fan that lives in Georgia and some of the winter in Florida. I do the same things all year round. Play some music, fool with cars and motorcycles, and occasional golf.

I wouldn't know. Alabama has the defending USFL champions residing in Birmingham. I don't think the state of Georgia has ever been able to boast about a professional championship in football but I could be wrong.
