Even intelligence can be bought. Project Saban Beyond is a go.

Save us the time, do one on sec schools who've almost lost their accreditation multiple times in that 20 years

Would be interesting. Surely no school has almost lost their ACADEMIC accreditation due to ATHLETIC malfeasance, right? That would be highly embarrassing.

And oh yeah, look at this: Rabern ranting in the Alabama thread first thing in the morning. Didn’t see that coming.

There is 0 chance they ever come close to sniffing this much success with a coach after saban. He’s extremely unique. These coaches come once a lifetime. Sorry bammers.

Bama has the most SEC and national titles of any team in conference even if you don’t count the titles won while Saban was coach.

You know that 6-7 win nonsense is fiction. You also know the job will be infinitely more attractive than the AU job and so your fear about Bama keeping their position as the conference’s top team is showing

Bama plans to preserve Saban's body Lenin style and display him on the sidelines of every game.

They’re gonna call Dabo home. I’m interested how they’ll be with him if he’s only going to the playoffs once every 4 years are so.

Whoever follows saban is fricked.

Les Miles did pretty good for a while with Saban's recruits.

There will be plenty of very good coaches that want that job when Saban leaves. It will be stocked with talent when he leaves.

We've had 5 coaches win national titles, and 4 of them won multiple titles.

I dint know how Aranda translates as a head coach but I live his demeanor on the field and his work ethic. The only thing is a coach has to be a great manager and recruiter or he is normally pretty average. I’m interested to see if he takes a HC job at a smaller school and how he does.

Don't want him. He is perfect for a Clemson or an Auburn. Not an Alabama. Hope he stays where he is at.

30 seasons before Saban? That'd take us to 1977...Bear won 3 SEC titles and back-to-back national championships from '77 till he retired. Ray Perkins had a 10-win season and top 10 finish in '86. Bill Curry had a 10-win season in '89 and a share of the SEC championship...Stallings averaged 10 wins a season with an SEC and national championship...Dubose, Franchione, and Shula each had 10-win seasons and Dubose won an SEC championship in '99. Sounds considerably better than 6 and 7 win seasons to me...
