We will just hire another coach and make him the GOAT like we did for Saban.

Auburn would kill for a 7 win season this year.

You never know! Anything is possible.

Bama had 10 seasons the last 30 years with seven or less wins. Seven of those seasons occurred during the Dubose and probation years. You infer that those types of seasons are the norm for Bama, yet they only occurred 33% of the time in the time frame you provided.
Using your same 30 year time frame, AU has had eight seasons of seven or less wins. Two less than Bama, and without probation.
Research, my man! You should try it.

What happens after Saban...
well, let's look at LSU. After Saban established the program and left, LSU hired Les Miles, a competent, if unexceptional coach with modest success at Oklahoma State.
Miles was able to maintain the program at an elite level, outlasting Tuberville at Auburn (considered a good program for awhile), and going toe-to-toe with Urban Meyer's Florida program. It took Saban returning to the SEC to eventually unseat LSU, and Miles was able to beat Saban 3 times in his tenure.
Point being, Bama doesn't need another Saban to maintain, they need only a Miles level dude, and he will tool along until the next Saban comes along. Note that per the LSU example, Urban Meyer at Florida WASN'T the next Saban.
I think it's going to take a long time for Bama to regress, unless they hire someone so full of themselves that they have to tear down the foundations and build it back in their own vision.

Hopeing Matt Campbell hangs around ISU until then or Frost gets fired after several 8-9 win seasons at NU.

Gaylord McCullough (Coach Bryant's plastic surgeon, former player and good friend) wrote a book on the post Bear years. In the book, he quoted Coach Bryant as saying that after he retires, the program would struggle and the fans would not understand why. Bryant foretold of a power struggle that would take a long time to overcome.
I've resigned in my mind that Alabama Football will struggle again. Maybe not as long, but the next coach will not have the same program Saban has. And our fans will not understand.
