The real question is how many fans were there before Saban showed up. Those fans could tell you.

I assume you're 18 years old sport. Since the 60's the U of A has been carrying the SEC. It is documented for you.

During that time, Bama accumulated more national titles than Auburn has since the beginning of time.

I could have sworn I read a thread like this not long ago on here. Deja vu?
When your own team goes into the shitter again, there are just so many thoughts one can come up with to help sooth their misery.
We must pity the poor bastards.

Must feel like shite, to be all happy at the first of
the season, thinking this is the year, first year we
make it to the playoffs.

Coach had just signed a big
contract, then gut shot l7u beat that arse, then MSU,
then giving 10RC their first conference win in two years.

Must suck
to be a Barn fan these days.

Does it matter? According to the most successful head coach in Auburn history, "We could play football for another 500 years and we couldn't catch up with the tradition Alabama has got, but that doesn't mean we can't have a good football program and a strong football program. It doesn't mean we can't have football teams that recruit good enough to beat Alabama on occasion."

I know but only two dynasties in my lifetime. Stallings won one but one isn't a dynasty.

Since the end of World War I, Alabama has won almost 75% of the games it has played in that 100-year time span. This shite started long before Saban and it will continue long after he has gone.

They tried that once. Trailer park cloning protocols leave a lot to be desired. Where do you think Bud Bundy came from?

Just accept the fact that Alabama is organically a better program with a higher ceiling than Auburn, brother. Open up your heart and let that truth in. It will do wonders for you. The sun will shine brighter, the sky will be a deeper shade of blue, once you admit to yourself that it’s ok, you don’t have to keep trying to chop down that mountain. Let go of your hate and just be, man. Who knows? You might even live a little longer.

What happens to the University of Alabama football program

Well, we know what happens to other programs (and fans) when Saban COMES to Alabama. Threads like this. But I suppose it's a minor annoyance when compared to losing like Auburn does these days. Don't worry, boog... only another 10 or so years of thriving Bama football before it starts to change.

Auburn fans are funny.

They go from being certain they've got the better coach to praying that other people die because they can't beat them in a game.

You couldn't get a roll tide in 2005 when we were ranked in the top 5? Or in 2002 when we finished 1st in the West? I call bullshite.

There will be plenty of very good coaches that want that job when Saban leaves. It will be stocked with talent when he leaves.
It's obviously an attractive job and you're going to get a huge name but there is zero chance in hell that the next guy is as successful as Saban.

You're going to come back down to earth some. I'm interested to see how your fanbase reacts when you're not going to the playoffs every single year. Even if the next guy has you winning 10 games consistently and has Bama in the playoffs once every 3 or 4 years it's not going to be good enough.
