Most people in America will probably watch Christmas Vacation or Office reruns on Peacock because of how little interest a Big 12 game will attract.

Most likely. Maybe A&M/Texas - ESPN 8pm, Egg Bowl ESPN2 6:30

Also need to consider A&M/Texas being in late September annually and A&M/LSU stays on Thanksgiving weekend.

Granted Jones is an a-hole…but you are seriously delusional if you think either the Aggie or Horn fanbase gives a rat’s arse about Arkansas alum Jerry Jones. He will have zero say in the game. It’s going to be a home and home game series line it’s always been.

Be awesome to have two SEC games on today. No issues with that.

Agree: Start 1 game at 6 PM on ESPN stagger the 2nd 1 and start it say at 7:15 to 7:30 range and put it on ABC or and ESPN2/ESPN combo.

Agreed. Fun for those that don't go to the game, but it's a pain in the arse for those of us that do go.

Has to be. If you live close to the game and it’s at night I guess it’s possible to have a normal thanksgiving but most fans have to travel at least a couple of hours and gotta be there at least an hour before kickoff….just a bad idea. UGA and GT freshman used to play on Thanksgiving day for charity but only people in Athens or Atlanta attended. It was a big deal but nothing like the actual game on Saturday.

No reason to get everyone all jacked up about this. Our AD will tell Slive who will play when and everything will be handled just fine.

For the couch potatoes, sure. But not for fans that have travel for the game. If it’s far enough that it’s an overnight trip requiring a hotel room, that means you are traveling on Thanksgiving and missing out on the holiday (2 night minimum at hotels). It also means a lot of students will skip the game, preferring not to miss out on Thanksgiving.

I don’t think they will have a problem putting butts in the seats. They are only 2 hours away from each other. Will be a hot ticket.

They did back when ATM and Texas were both still playing.

Seems like Egg Bowl was first and ATM-Texas was the night game most of the time.

As one who doesn't really watch pro football that much I'd love to have both games back on Thanksgiving.

I would watch the Egg Bowl 10 out of 10 times given a choice between the two. It never disappoints.
