In the Atlanta metro area:
1) "I couldn't make it into Georgia, and my parents wouldn't pay for Berry College or SCAD, so I joined the Auburn Family."
Or
2) "I wanted to be an engineer, and I couldn't make it in to Tech, so I joined the Auburn Family."
In all seriousness, the Auburn engineers I work with are all great. They have more actual human interaction skills than the vast majority of Tech engineers. But the Auburn folks with degrees from outside of Auburn's STEM/Morrill Act wheelhouse have a huge chip on their shoulder, from either inheriting it from their Auburn parents or developing it themselves after being by turned down by UGA.
