I would have to say, no, due to 2nd and 26 being the greatest play in college football history. If it was after 2017 then absolutely.
There's no such thing as a big 3.

That's a relief. I know I was dreading playing them.

It's all that is important.

It's a hillbilly song about no electricity and killing govt agents. There's no close 2nd.
I didn't know they did.

Sorry Alabama, the metric doesn't work for you. Georgia had a better record and the same number of ranked wins. Split the head to head in neutral sites. Georgia remains the 2021 National Champions.
Bama curb stomped Georgia while Georgia won in the last few minutes.

And Bama claims the 2021 title by the same metric.
Pressured to do so by the accomplishments of the state rival. This is actually a compliment to Bama success.
When you are in the same state as the most successful football program in college football history, it puts pressure on you to do this. Kudos to AU for lasting as long as they did.
He's the most important player in AU history. In the midst of the greatest run in college football history by their rival, he gave them some momentary relief, joy, hope for the future, even if the future was a disappointment.

Been mentioned a thousand times already but Georgias defense played one way for 14 games that season, and another way in one game which was the SEC championship.
Without Metchie and Williams I'm sure Georgia did play a different defense.

We can re-litigate that national championship game as long as you want, because it was awesome. Pickens tweaked his knee in practice after that. He played 11 snaps.
Odd that it was never mentioned and Georgia media said he needed to make a statement in the title game.

Bama fans told us that it was all about national championships, until that narrative didn't work anymore and all of a sudden it wasn't.
It is about NCs. That's what we're discussing.
Those were ESPN, CBS. Cowherd/Klatt, etc.

Jameson Williams played more snaps in that game than George Pickens. Pickens was basically a decoy.
Williams couldn't play more snaps. Pickens played fewer snaps in the NC game than the SECCG over a month earlier so he could have played much more if he had wanted.

...Bama tried to win by playing new-age pussy ball and lost.
The pussy ball blew you guys out in the first game when Bama wasn't missing as many players and the teams were more evenly matched. The stories the next day were as much about Bama's rash of terrible injury luck as much as Georgia's winning.

Someone would have to be a complete inbred cousin fricker to make the comparison. Give Bama credit for being more clutch, but Georgia was up tby 14 points in the second half in both of the 2018 games we played. Saban had to pull a rabbit out of his butt both times and change quarterbacks. Good for him. Then time went on and Saban eventually coached in his last national championship game, where the other team was more physical and it turned into a 4th quarter shite kicking, because football is still a phsyical sport and the more physical team deserves to win the game.
A parent of a recruit once asked Wimp Sanderson how many of his payers had graduated. He said, "every one that wanted to."

Imagine all that Devonta would have lost if he hadn't spurned his state school and went to Bama. No Heisman, no 2 NCs, drafted lower, no part of the greatest play in SEC history, probably college football history. Of course, he would have never known but...

There’s no response to 53 times 28. Pure domination lol
I'll respond. Bama has NCs in other sports, but we don't consider them important enough to mention.
