So what he did at WSU is somehow reflective of what he’s going to do at State? False equivalency. And before you bring up Memphis, know that we got absolutely shafted in that game.

That isn't clear at all. Maybe that is what you were talking about but different people have been discussing his whole offensive/coaching philosophy which isn't just his tenure at Miss St.
The stereotype of him losing really bad games but coming back and winning really tough games has been around longer than his Miss St or even Washington St tenure.

We had an offense with a qb who has been in the nfl, 2 top 15 receivers in the nfl, a top 30 nfl receiver, a top 12 nfl tight end, and multiple lineman who made it to the nfl…. We put up 7 points on alabama at home that year. For all the years ole miss, state, Arkansas have a ton of talent, it still just pales in comparison to bama, lsu auburn and A&M. It just takes so much going right for schools like ole miss and state to get to 9 or 10 wins. Have to be lucky with down years with several sec teams and absolutely have to avoid injuries. The depth is what always gives the advantage to bama and lsu.

Not saying you’re wrong, but don’t you think that may have something to do with the quality and quantity of talent on your roster? You’re going to be hard pressed to argue the scouts were that wrong with that many player evals when you look at the volume of blue chips on the state roster compared to the rest of the division. Has state out-recruited anyone in the division the last 3 years? But I’m supposed to believe they out-talent more than they don’t in the division?

You truly don’t understand the experience part of what I said, do you? Are there more talented teams on paper? No shite. But some are younger with less experience. Anywho, I’m done talking in circles about it. We’ll see how the year goes.
