I support this 100%. Covid-19 is NOTHING if you are a semi-healthy individual. Go look at the statistics of who this is impacting. Sure, there are a few outliers, but outliers should not dictate whether we keep things shuttered.

That said, a lot of it right now is speculative for obvious reasons. And likely not enough to make the decision to throw the stadium gates open as OP suggests.

Based on name, SECR membership, and being an ol miss fan. I'm 90% sure OP is fat. As such, COVID will wreck/kill him with relative ease. Don't be on the lookout for new posts from him in a few months.

It's impacting fat people. The SEC is the fattest fricking part of the entire world. People on here should be concerned.

What about the person who contracts it with high t cell immunity. Goes to a game gets Covid-19 but brings it home to someone who didn't go to the game and has low t-cell immunity?

Why is that my concern? He or she should have thought about that prior to going to the game. Why should that impact me or others who want to go?

Are there still people clinging to the fiction this is anything more than the flu?

Heard the AD from UAB being interviewed. He pointed out that there are always risk associated with going to games. He pointed out that there are certain demographics that shouldn’t go to a 2 PM game when it is 100 degrees outside. If you are at a high risk, don’t go. He added there is a remote chance you could get food poisoning from a hotdog at a game or there could be a terrorist attack. Basically if you are in a vulnerable demographic or worried about a risk, don’t go to the game, but that is no reason to shut down the games.

Why is that my concern? Lol man we have some selfish people on this board. It can mean your mom or dad or sick child can get it. Why is it my concern?

Would Ole Miss have full stadiums even without Covid?

Now that you can buy beer in there I bet there'd be some good crowds if allowed this year

We don't mind shitty football. We just don't like to watch it sober.

Man I'm sure glad I have Google. I know just as much as any doctor without spending 10 years and $150,000 on a degree. God I'd hate to look as stupid as they do right now. Can you even imagine?

Now where did I put my tide pods? Google says there just as good as any vaccine. . .

If you are that concerned don't go to the game. You are the one being selfish. Because you are worried then no one else should be able to attend the game. That is the definition of selfish.

In short, 20% to 50% of people may have cross-reactive immunity because of previous exposure to other coronaviruses.

That said, a lot of it right now is speculative for obvious reasons. And likely not enough to make the decision to throw the stadium gates open as OP suggests.

Yeah 20% is the last thing I saw for the sake of being conservative. I guess he just made that shite up.

Yeah bro I'm on board. Only 20% of the attendees with no "natural immunity" will get seriously ill. I like those odds, especially for the really important reason of owning the Big 10 with maskless crowds...

I know 20% of your pathetic stadium down in that hellhole state of yours isn't a lot, but maybe you should think about the math behind your idiocy before you post it. Also I don't think you understand how immunity works. I'm shocked at the medical degrees that are coming out lately on this board.

I sort of like that people can be idiots and get sick, but the truth is they are also spreading it around.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know if you were one of the immune? My mom is 80 and has cancer so I’m not complaining per se about wearing one but dang it would be awesome to know and be able to strip the mask off.
