Once he gets back protect yourself young fellow. I know he isn't reading message boards. but I am just venting. He dealt with a knee issue last year.

They really don't not know until the player does well in the game. Practice is practice. Coaches can only go by what they see in practice. When the lights come on and you have 60000 screaming fans. That can kind of change things. That's why experience is so valuable.
Remember guys we still have 9 games left. We will get better.

The second half showed me something. A Brian Kelly coached team would have got run out of the stadium. I still think this is a playoff team. We were on the ropes, and we fought back to get back into the game. Even though we lost that is something to build on. Don't throw away the season because of one loss on the road to the 9 ranked team in the country by a touchdown.

We play them tough and lose close at home. We go up there are we get blown out. This is not a rivalry. We are not mentally tough enough and we do not shoot the ball well from 3 to beat them.

As a former lineman myself, one of the easiest things to learn was to run block. Your aggressive, your not thinking so much you. You are just tasked to beating the man in front of you. Pass pro was always harder to learn. But to see the PFF grades when it comes to run blocking shocking. Man this line sucks. Brad Davis man is he stealing money right now.

The 2019 team won the Joe Moore award. I still wouldn't classify that unit as a dominate unit. I think the last one was the 2018 LSU team. That unit was just more physical compared to anything we have seen from LSU the last 10 years. If you take out the Alabama game that year. That was a physical unit.

So, I follow the local media guys, and their practice reports every day. There are so many hot takes from these guys. Especially this early in camp. Blake Ruffino thinks are Oline is going to suck. Matt Moscona thinks are guys are talented but need time to mesh. The truth has to be somewhere in the middle. Where are we when it comes to the offensive line? It still early in camp and from my experience it usually takes time for the line to come together. Has anyone been to practice?

Players can leave any freaking time they want to. How can you build a team like this? How can a coach build depth like this? Kids are leaving just to leave.

This is his first year starting, and he is asked to do everything for this offensive. Just imagine if he had an even average rungame. Just average. Throwing is 50 times a game is a receipt for disaster. He needs help.

Im not saying that at all. Burns should sit but the question would be is who is going to take the field behind him. Is the talent on the bench better than what is on the field right now? I can personally take a lower talent player if he goes all out on the field. But that is the real question.

You better not show any signs that you need development as a player. If you step on the field. You better be an All-America from day one. You better be all SEC. Forget that inexperience crap. Play now. Contribute now. Win now. There is no such thing as a process. You better win. Or get the hell off the field.
