We should blow COVID out of the water... why? Because of t-cell immunity. New evidence is leaning toward the statistic of 80-90% of people having a natural immunity to COVID-19 (Like they did for SARS and MERS) based on t-cell immunity.

If you are scared or concerned, don't go. But for those of us not living in fear, we should be allowed to return to 100% normal (The real normal). Wear a mask... or don't since there are varying schools of thought on that and this is America. How awesome would it be to see full stadiums in the SEC with few masks in the stands compared to the BIG10 sitting at home?

I'd like to, but I gotta wake my arse up at 6am every morning this week, drive up to Las Colinas, and do the drywall at the new McDonalds.

What about the person who contracts it with high t cell immunity. Goes to a game gets Covid-19 but brings it home to someone who didn't go to the game and has low t-cell immunity?

IF we can save even 1 life then no football or no sports of any kind is the only way to go.

I have heard and seen people who have had heart surgery survive the virus. He was put into ICU but three days later was released. I have heard that there might be different strains of the virus and that blood type might be a factor.

So do not drive, eat, swim, exercise, watch TV, sit, walk, stand, take medicine, sleep, stay awake, live, etc.

And in one or two weeks, they’ll find themselves in the ER.

Awesome indeed.

Not happening.

I think we could reasonably do 30-40 percent safely.

Just set "entrance time" and a gate.

Game starts at 3:30. So each Gate has entrance times for certain tickets. Say 2:30/2:45/3:00/3:15

You go in when scheduled or have to wait till the game starts to get in. Spread it across all gates so the lines to get in, check temp, etc is not to large. Then have allotted concession times based on section. It sounds complex, but it really isnt all that hard to do with planning.

Yes, because everyone that gets COVID-19 goes to the ER. Oh wait...never mind that isn't right.

This is the latest one I've seen: Science Magazine research on Cross-Reactive T-Cell Immunity

In short, 20% to 50% of people may have cross-reactive immunity because of previous exposure to other coronaviruses.

That said, a lot of it right now is speculative for obvious reasons. And likely not enough to make the decision to throw the stadium gates open as OP suggests.
