Derrick Brown was the player everyone talked about from last years team (and rightly so) but Jeremiah Dinson at Safety is the unsung guy we are gonna miss most, I think. He was the leader in the secondary and one tough s.o.b. He is now with the Lions and he will be sorely missed.

Jacob Phillips was our top LB heading into the year then Queen really took the spotlight down the stretch—deservedly so.

Phillips didn’t get the credit he deserved for being a stable presence on the D.

The entire offensive line could be another answer to this question

I also immediately thought about Phillips. Another option is Rashard Lawrence. Never was a star, but provided a solid presence on the line for a long time. He was one of those guys that decided not to leave early and gave us that senior presence we had been missing.

Tough to decide between Javon Kinlaw and Bryan Edwards. Both are huge losses for us.

That is easy for me, David Reese II. 322 total tackles in 46 games played and 38 starts over the last 4 years. He has been the man in the middle at LB. Academic all SEC. Total team player and he will be missed in the locker room. Solid all around guy.

Also as a true freshman in 2016 he was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week after he posted a career-high 12 tackles and a 0.5 tackle-for-loss in Florida’s SEC Eastern Division-clinching win at LSU. AKA the hurricane game.

Cushenberry. The glue to that O-line. The question mark at center is one of the bigger concerns going into the 2020 season.

Zach Shackelford graduated after starting at Center for 4 straight years. People think Texas could've done better, and they're probably right, but they should be careful what they wish for. He was consistent and part of an o-line that had to improve immensely from Charlie's last year to Tom's third

Patrick queen is the one that would have been the one guy on d that I would want to come back the most ..just think about how he played when he started getting all the first team reps. Dude didn't even start but maybe 10 games in his life at linebacker ,did he? Wasn't he a rb in high school..dude would go down as a legend with 10 more starts at lsu.
They got there guy in Baltimore now.

Also, thad moss caught every ball last year although we will be ok at tight end.

Everyone will see how good justin Jefferson was ,once he's gone

M Calloway... everyone praised JJ, but MC was a great punt returner and a clutch receiver. Darrell Taylor on the defensive side.

For me it is Derrick Dillon. Was a threat and would have started on most college teams. He never quit and also played special teams.

Queen started four games at LB as a soph and 11 games as a Jr. He also played LB in high school along with RB.

Brian Herrien...solid backup at RB and could block and catch the ball out of the
backfield. Very dependable.

How in the world was he "unsung?"

He was probably the most famous CFB PK
in the country.
