My son asked if he thought we’d win (at about 3 minutes left), and I told him, “I’ll be absolutely shocked if we don’t choke this away.”

If we beat ISU, it’ll be because they’re missing their best player.

If we lose, we’ll be ridiculed considering ISU was missing their best player.

This thread aged like fine wine
I thought he spiked the bat because he didn’t think he had enough on it…

…And then clapped his chest because he thought it was going to go.

Regardless, awesome series. Great finish. Krenzel was really off today and likely made the difference.
It’s understandable when fans question fouls, but for the broadcasters to point out that they saw nothing there three or four times…
VOLS blow another double digit lead, smh. Hope Ament’s injury isn’t too serious, sure could have used him in the second half.
Kent State might be better than we think!

But… bad loss. For sure. I stand my original prediction that we win at least 12 games.
I have no clue how the BaseVOLS will look this year. I expect more than 12 wins.

This is the least talented Barnes VOLS team I remember seeing

I haven’t watched the VOLS for 30 years just to quit now. We will rebuild eventually.

I think Heupel has done a good job with what he took over. This year was largely considered a rebuild after what we lost, and we took a major hit when both starting corners opted to not return. We may see another tough year in 2026, but between the Knowles hire and incoming class, I think CJH needs 10 wins in 2027 to stay off the hot seat. 2027/28 is when we will either commit to the Heup or look at making a change.

Not a Georgia fan by any stretch, but Stockton is tough as nails. He got walloped.
I found 11.8mil for Indiana…

2mil more than the VOLS,

7 mil less than Georgia
9 mil less than Ohio St & LSU
11 mil less than Texas
I think Ty Simpson will transfer to a lesser program called the New York Jets
Let’s not forget that Miami also lost to the powerhouses of SMU and Louisville.

I don’t think any team in CFB is elite this year, but what we do have is a ton of parity across the top 8-10 teams or so.

I didnt even know they had a football team until about a month ago.

Fun fact for you then - The HC of your next playoff opponent came from JMU
To be fair, Heupel is also on the list
Night game in Autzen?

Oregon isn’t great, but JMU is JMU. No chance, IMO.
