re: 72 days until SEC football

Maybe I’m just getting older, but all this transfer portal and NIL stuff has really made me lose interest. I’ll still watch and be passionate for the games, but the buildup and excitement from the anticipation just isn’t really there anymore.
I’d say Florida’s floor is 6 wins and ceiling is 9. UF recruits well and has enough talent to be decent. Also a question of how quickly Sumrall and Co. can implement their schemes. If I had to guess today, Florida goes 7-5.

Overachieved a bit, and still made Omaha, which 99% of teams can’t claim. It really was a great season for Ole Miss; I wouldn’t be too upset.
Siap, but BC vs LI ended a couple of minutes prior… so Long Island was first eliminated
I know you aren’t asking Tennessee or LSU fans, but I’ll chime in anyway.

Rational VOLS fans (meaning not Serraneaux) knew we’d have a bit of a drop off this season. I didn’t expect to make the post season at all.

From what I’d read, LSU fans seemed to think they’d be going to Omaha again.

I’m not going to fuss about our region. We had a group of good teams, and they came to play. Hats off to ECU and VCU. To be the best, you have to beat the best, whatever the route.

I’d rather be a VOL in this situation. First year coach, lots of attrition, almost zero bullpen… hoping Elander can recruit or utilize the portal well.

Good luck to the remaining SEC teams.
That’s about as bad as St Louis beat Georgia
The annual go-ice-cold-in-the-tournament game. Refreshing.
None of it matters. Pretty obvious the refs won’t allow Tennessee to walk out with a win.
Evidently you don’t know what the cylinder is…

Even the broadcasters showed it… in slow-mo… and commented that it was a great block.
Pretty sure they gave it right back with the no travel call, but instead a foul on Okpara

We shall see if they’re elite, because UCONN also looks pretty damn good.
My son asked if he thought we’d win (at about 3 minutes left), and I told him, “I’ll be absolutely shocked if we don’t choke this away.”

If we beat ISU, it’ll be because they’re missing their best player.

If we lose, we’ll be ridiculed considering ISU was missing their best player.

This thread aged like fine wine
I thought he spiked the bat because he didn’t think he had enough on it…

…And then clapped his chest because he thought it was going to go.

Regardless, awesome series. Great finish. Krenzel was really off today and likely made the difference.
It’s understandable when fans question fouls, but for the broadcasters to point out that they saw nothing there three or four times…
VOLS blow another double digit lead, smh. Hope Ament’s injury isn’t too serious, sure could have used him in the second half.
Kent State might be better than we think!

But… bad loss. For sure. I stand my original prediction that we win at least 12 games.
