Georgia Tech- former SEC member 222-0 Cumberland football 0 in 1916, no one will come close to matching that lopsided blowout.
Oklahoma- 47 wins in a row. from 1953 to 1957. with NIL and the portal no one's touching it.
SEC baseball has sent at least 1 team to Omaha every year from 1993 to present, no other conference will break that appearance streak.
4th and 25, not really a record but I had to throw it in there.

In 1938 and 1939, Neyland's Vols set NCAA records when they shut out 17 straight opponents for 71 consecutive shutout quarters. His '39 squad is the last NCAA team in history to hold every regular season opponent scoreless.

Johnny Manziel holds the SEC and NCAA records for most total yards by a freshmen, and it's not likely to get surpassed by a freshman anytime soon.

“ Nov. 1, 1969, Reaves threw 66 passes (at the time, the most by a QB in SEC history and still second-best on the league's all-time list), and nine were intercepted by Auburn in the No. 17 Tigers' 38-12 victory over the No. 7 Gators, who suffered their only loss of the season. No other player in SEC history has thrown more than six interceptions in a game, and Reaves also holds the NCAA FBS single-game record. Auburn finished the 1969 season with 34 interceptions, which was the SEC single-season record at the time.”

Tyler Jamal Finley played for 6 different colleges, without attending any classes at any of the colleges. This courageous effort may never be duplicated.

Didn't say if had to be in conference play. Obviously with Texas and Oklahoma joining their records will most likely not be anything to do with conference. Posting some interesting records anyway.

Another thing, teams are playing many more games now than just a few years ago. 12 game season, CCG, 3 or 4 playoff games, a team could play as many as 17 games in a season as compared to the past. Single game records have the best chance of lasting through the years.

Samaje Perine (Oklahoma): 427 yards rushing vs. Kansas (2014). Single game rushing.

Derrick Henry (Alabama) 2219 yards single season rushing.

Ricky Williams (Texas) 6279 yards rushing career.

These rushing records will last forever or until rules change significantly to favor rushing, ain't gonna happen.

Nobody will ever lose 21 games in a row again like SC did.

Not a record per se, but Texas has been to the CWS 38 times, 50% more than second place Miami at 25.

Given Texas will never just disappear, nobody is gonna catch them.

What if we just counted conference games?

Shorty McWilliams is the only First Team All SEC RB in history for four years.
1944, 1946-1948.

Oklahoma Sooners - 47 straight victories from 1953-57. That is a record that will almost certainly never be broken.

My hat will always be tipped to OU for that record. Rival or not.

Didn’t Derrick Thomas have 52 sacks in his career and 27 in a season?

Why does the internet say Will Anderson holds the SEC record for both?

What a bullshite statistic and embarrassing they claim that. Cumberland didn’t even have a football team that year. They legit put together a bunch of kids to go out and play that one game because Tech enforced a contract to play, after Cumberland embarrassed them in baseball.

I wanna say the Cumberland baseball coach picked up the kids to go play so the school didn’t have to pay like $5,000 not to play in it after they had previously cancelled the football program.

The rest are legit accomplishments

I question the Georgia Tech claim...we all should. Most teams could easily win by 200 if it was against people off the street...I know they would def beat my arse without question...I am athletic, but they would smoke my arse easily without question. Pretty sure offensive and defensive lineman use my max deadlift or squat for their warm-up and could easily do it 12+ times.
