re: Attention LSU fans:

I'll go out on a limb and say 10-2, no SEC championship, and a playoff berth.

LSU win total is 9.5 next fall. So just about every response should be 9 or 10 regular season wins.

I would be happy with 9-3 and no playoffs considering the schedule and all of the turmoil this winter.

8-4 would be a little disappointing.
I agree with your plan.

I do not understand why more fans do not see it this way.

Every other sport on every level operates like you're suggesting. I do not understand why fans think college football should be different.

There is much more parity now and a team that loses two close games (Miami) should not be disqualified. It can happen to any team and it doesn't mean that they are not one of the top teams in the country.

Miami literally just proved this.

At this point I do not give a flying frick what anyone thinks or says, because eventually, what you laid out is going to be exactly (or close) to what actually happens (eventually).
He has taken the same number of snaps this year as Bama scored against Indiana. JS.

I know this guy, Jayden Daniels. You know him???
I don’t care whether he signs with us or not. I’m just not convinced that he will be in the top third of SEC QBs next fall.

And for the money being thrown at him, he would need to be.
This post is not very Marcus Aurelius at all.

I was illustrating that it happens to "power" teams too.

My point was that there were a lot more blowouts than you listed. P5 and otherwise. No real offense, but I think the list was lazy. But that’s just like my opinion, man.

Why didn’t you list them?

Didn't every single LSU fan currently in existence "blame" Saban for leaving LSU, via Miami, to coach at Alabama? Overnight, he went from a beloved ex-coach to a midget demon and has haunted the fevered and demented dreams of LSU fans ever since. Isn't that true?

No it’s not true.
I don’t bet often. Just bet Ole Miss. I could win even if they lose, but I like their chances. Chambliss is a wizard.
People love them some clicks. You might get a hand written thank you note.
Why the frick do so many fans believe that college football should be different that literally EVERY other sport AND league.

Even leagues and college subdivisions do it differently and have at minimum 12 teams in a playoff.

The college football model as it was was antiquated and just ridiculous. I cannot fathom why people ESPECIALLY with the new found obvious parity in college football thinks that the best team is in the top 4 year in and year out. It’s confounding.
There needs to be 16 teams in the playoffs and there will be.

There are going to 1-2 double digit seeds every year that can win it all. Two or even three losses (especially in the SEC) should not disqualify you.
I’ve never seen a more appropriate example of Alabama beating themselves. Come on!!!!

I don’t think it matters much once the playoff goes to 16 (or possibly more-probably next year).

Most years in a 16 team playoff there will only be one JMU or Tulane and they can go to the #1 seed’s house and get steam rolled.

Basically a bye for the #1 seed.

This board really sucks right now.

Just a fricking endless line of petulant children from every fanbase.
I do with heavier putters. I do not like light putters.

Also, tour pros are now overwhelmingly choosing mallet putters. Very few in the top of the putting stats use a blade (or the whole tour for that matter). I’m inclined to think that’s because of speed control more than anything.

Cliffs? Buy a mallet putter if you are struggling with speed and using a blade putter.

Some courses let you play on Mondays in the afternoon.

In fact, If you join TCC in Covington, you pretty much have the course to yourself on Monday afternoons.

Of course that’s often the case at TCC since there are no tee times either.
