Just an FYI but Mariota is 6'4" and has bulked up to 220 and will run a legit 4.5-4.6.

I think Mariota suffers in these lists because so much attention is on the Oregon RBs. He's legit, though.

True. It will be interesting how he is perceived with DAT being the only proven RB and not someone who can carry the load.

You mean he was able to coach a QB into not throwing as many INTs against Sun Belt secondaries?

They just did it on college football live. Major candidates are: AJ, Murray, Boyd, Manziel, Bridgewater, miller, mariota, nick Marshall
I'm a Dye-hard (SWIDT) Auburn fan through and through, but Nick Marshall doesn't deserve to be on this list until he proves something on the field. He absolutely has a chance given his skill set and the offense he's in, but let's calm down a little bit, College Football Live. I will say that I expect him to surprise some people this season.

He have to take one risky pick. Hundley at UCLA is probably one that I'd throw in the mix.

I think more of a knock on Mariota is the perception that he's the product of a 'system'... a bunch of guys have put up great numbers over the last few years.

It's not like we get system qbs. The qbs coming through Oregon couldn't have more diverse skillsets. June Jones or Mike Leach...sure.

Bridgewater is given tons of credit for leading his team around. But he plays HORRIBLE competition.

1. Manziel (overall athlete not so much a QB)
2. McCarron
3. Murray

Notice the best QB's are all fricking Ms

Lets be honest. Bama hasn't had a gauntlet of a schedule the last two years either.

If you are looking at season stats, then you are looking at all competition (not just the regular schedule)

How can you ridicule a team who played 6 opponents ranked in the top 15 at the time of the game.

Or that played 5 ranked teams at seasons end?

It sounds so butthurt.
