At least she’s getting paid instead of handing it out for free and ruining a family along the way.

Are you car camping?

What’s your sleep system/setup?

Boulder sucks in the winter too it shouldn’t be too much of a difference.

CU doesn’t play in Boulder during the cold months. Also, they have 330 sunshine days a year. That makes a big difference.

That’s easy when there’s like 50 black folks in their state

WA has plenty of black folk.

You’re thinking of Oregon.

When the territory was settled Oregon decided it wasn’t going to be a slave state but they also decided black folk had to leave. Some headed home. Some headed north. Some headed south.

We haven't even entered the "hmm let me google some stuff to do there" phase if that tells you how early we are in this process lol.

Search Scenic byway 12.

Several posters, including myself, have driven it.

It’s probably the most scenic drive I’ve ever been on. It’s beyond amazing.

If you search old Utah/NP threads you’ll see it mentioned.

It doesn’t sound like that area is on your radar but maybe after you do more research on where you want to go it could work out.

have seen quite a few boats slide off of trailers onto the concrete to make me not want any type of synthetic covering for my bunks.

Don’t unhook until you’re at the waters edge. Problem solved.

Texas has grocery stores, so I just go there and get the ingredients I need and make whatever dish I'm craving.

The great HEB doesn’t have great or even good sausage.

Those flour tortillas though!

I’ve got access to great seafood but the sausage game is for shite.

When I visit I bring back an assortment of sausages, pickled pork etc.Last time I brought back about 45 lbs.

I always bring back po boy bread too.

College football and March Madness is all I have left for watching sports. I go all day for college football, unless the fishing is hot and that comes first that time of year.

If you don’t have a sous vide that’s what I would do. Minus the smoke. I would go low and slow til about 125 though.

Ignore the people who tell you that Colorado has a crazy political climate. I really don’t encounter as much as I do in other states.

You can’t ignore it, however I’ll say you don’t encounter as much crazy as I do in Portland or Seattle.

If CO had a coastline I’d move. I already deal with crazy and higher prices. CO is less crazy but they certainly want to join the ranks one day.

Eta….CO has many more pretty people too.

The only reason I liked July better was because of the nearly 0 chance of wildfires. Mid to late August I had a few summers where it was post apocalyptic outside due to the smoke

That’s a fair point.
