What are some easy to intermediate hiking trails that offer good scenery?
Angels Rest in the Gorge. I think it has the best view of the gorge at the top.
Mobile Link
Or, Horsetail Falls which is closer to Multnomah Falls. A short hike in and you see Ponytail Falls which is a great picture.
Travel along Historic Columbia River Highway and see many falls from the road.
You can combine this with a trip to Hood River which has lots of restaurants and drink options and is one hour East of Portland.

Easy to say that after the fact.
Caleb was 0-4 after a short week. Saints have a D I guess. Saints had won 8 straight against the Bears.
Bears aren’t used to being favored.
Saints are trash but in survivor that’s not easy info to digest and still take the Bears.

First Crabbing trip this Fall

We absolutely destroyed the crabs! I bought 2 more pots for a total of 6 for possible quicker limits. We’ve had to reset 4 pots to get our limits at times. Well, not yesterday:lol:
After we set our pots we spot lock near our pots to watch for thieves and we use castable crab traps and a ring to catch keeper crabs whilst we wait.
We caught 4 and we were moving around wondering if there were crabs around. After a couple of blanks near 2 of my pots we decided to check them in case they needed to be moved elsewhere.
1st pot had 17 keepers, 2nd pot had 15 keepers. We were ecstatic! They had only been soaking 45 min. We normally set a timer for 75 min after we finish dropping everything.
We went ahead and checked all the pots. Every one was loaded with crabs.
We spent 30 minutes picking all the biggest and cleanest crab and threw at least 30 keeper size crabs overboard.
We kept a 4 man limit of 48 beautiful Dungeness crabs.
I boiled mine up when I got home and had a great dinner. My buddy comes for fun and doesn’t eat crab so I went home with 24. I’ll be picking crabs today and making crab cakes tomorrow.
