They changed schemes at the beginning of the season, and don’t act like there’s not a learning curve. They keep that OC and they take another leap next year.

That was the middle of the season and they implemented a vastly new scheme. They’re executing the blocking scheme at a much better rate than the first half of the season.
They took a quarter to get going against SMU. By that time the score was getting out of hand.

No one is arguing the Big 10 has parity. Contender is not the same as basement dweller.
Rutgers is normally a basement dweller. Rutgers has a stint and then was largely non competitive.
All of this schools have had eras where they’re highly competitive and able to knock off a big school.
