I think if you had last year's QB in 2024 you would have been quite a bit better (or much more of a playoff threat) considering the rest of the team as a whole.

Like almost any system that's "gimmicky", once there's enough tape on it it gets figured out and slowed down quickly. Spreading the field out 50 yards wide from sideline to sideline bamboozled people briefly but I mean it's not really a surprise anymore.

It was also a gimmick offense when Golesh was scheming everyone (sans Kirby) into a pretzel.
We just have a horrid OC(also QB coach) that we refuse to move on from. We run like 5 plays now
It’s completely unrecognizable from Golesh’s play calling

Yeah bc of individual matchups not necessarily scheme. Chunking the ball up like you're playing 500 and a freak wr out jumping our overmatched db isn't really a scheme thing.
Worth noting the 17, 13, 10, and 17 points that were put up in every other matchup.

Clayton White has been sneaky good for a long time. His numbers would be even better if Shula's terrible offense hadn't stressed the Defense by putting them out there 2/3s of the game last year.

Because your personnel has been mediocre by SEC standards.
There’s nothing wrong in particular with the system, you just aren’t scaring anyone trying to run it without a QB whole can push the ball accurately and a WR who can force the safeties back which you haven’t really had since Hooker/Hyatt.
Whether that’s talent identification, development or NIL you are better qualified to say than I am. The fact that a QB centric coach has to import portal QBs ever year isn’t a good sign at a place where you can sign elite ones out of HS and develop them in-house.

the first drive was masterful no doubt. But lots of teams lately have scored TDs on their opening drive against us for wahtever reason. Their 2nd TD was a 72 yard jump ball that was just thrown up like a hail mary that their guy caught after our DB fell down. That's not really a big heupel chess move. That same dude's 3rd TD was a 56 yarder that was practically identical, just a long bomb throw up that their guy used our DB to propel himself up and ctach it. Our guy was actually in perfect position, he just got launched from. That's 128 yards adn 2 TDs in the box score that doint' really have anything to do with their scheme.
Lastly I'll close with this. I'm not some retard liberal that has my mind made up on something and that's it in concrete forevermore despite all evidence to the contrary. I do have the abiliyt to change my opinion based on new facts, which is the case here. I went ahead and looked up their year by year offenive numbers per game
2021- 475 yards, 39 points
2022- 526 yards, 46 points
2023- 448 yards, 32 points
2024- 447 yards, 36 points
2025- 446 yards, 40 points
My experience, naturally, is coming from a persepctive of what they've done against UGA specifically, but as I can now see he has rmeained consistent or even improved yearly. So...I'll admit I was mistaken.

A good OC can usually make a style of play work. They know how to adjust it when needed but still stick to it at the core.

Sark is way too high. We were 9th in the sec in total offense last season with our talent. Sark is a fraud.
