I'll put the odds of DVH to Texas at a comfortable 0.

I feel pretty darned good about keeping Schloss as well ... I cannot remember the last coach Texas stole from us in pretty much any sport. I'm sure there are some, but I cannot remember them

Definitely not.. we all see it.. we will get pummeled if Pierce is still the coach. CDC is a good AD.. he will see it too..

The right coach can turn it around. With the portal. that can happen quick. It will be hard as shite each week, but at least with a new coach, we can compete.

It isn’t even the on the field stuff that is gonna get him fired.. he is apparently a total a-hole and is losing coaches and recruits because of it.

I think it will be Corbin, Vitello or O’Sullivan. I would take either of those guys too.. shite, I would take Missouri’s coach over Pierce and I don’t even know his name.

I don't know about Corbin but the other two aren't going to Texas. They have a much better situation where they are

Corbin is probably the most unhirable coach in college baseball.

We don’t have to worry about DVH.

Then that is three strikes for Texas. Besides, I heard they were after Saarloos or however you spell his name

Corbin is a non-starter, Vitello is too touched even for you guys to consider, and why would O'Sullivan leave FL?

What was up with Travinski not being able to catch a pitch tonight? I realize he's a good catcher, but he probably cost them some strikes tonight just by dropping pitches.

yes.. wrong board, I know.. but y’all better start hiding your coaches

From Texas?

Texas isn't poaching a good, tenured SEC coach...who would it be? Vitello maybe?

Certainly not DVH, JJ, Corbin, and O'Sullivan, which are the top coaches in the SEC currently. Maybe Texas can grab Nick Mingione from Kentucky. I am sure Ole Miss or Miss State would be fine with Texas grabbing their coaches.

Corbin isnt leaving Vanderbilt. O'Sullivan isnt leaving Florida. Vitello would be the only one who might, but I would even put that percentage lower.

Texas will have to find an in state guy. Steven Trout at Texas State seems logical.

This isnt the Big 12. All of the top SEC baseball programs have facilities and stadiums better than what Texas currently has and are only improving.

Arky pitching is just crazy. I’ll be happy with us bulldogs if we can keep it up and be back in regionals this year. If y’all stay healthy and the bats are alive at the right time this might be the year of the pig.

Go back and look at how many potential coaches they went through before hiring Pierce.

They’ll get a good coach. But they aren’t poaching from an upper level SEC team. PAC 12 or ACC teams should worry though.

I think Johnson overthought this series. Our bullpen isn't good at all, and well we just burned most of them until Saturday at least. We'll need a hell of a game from holman/Hurd to win one. We don't have the bats to win 2.

Maybe. But DVH does that a lot too. Either way, this is pretty much always the best series of the year and despite the weird calls behind the plate - was fun to watch our baws go at it. Every time Tommy steps up to the plate he’s got a chance to go yard(especially in Baum - very HR friendly park for batters like him). Gonna be tough for either team to win, I definitely see a rubber, and I hope our guys don’t think that’s the last of LSU’s fight…
