That's what kids want to see. A team on 2K actually is a good sign for Recruiting.

Now holds the record for longest made FG in a regular season and preseason game.

68 yards with room to spare
We can get whoever we are willing to give the right deal to. Indiana is the one of the worst programs in FBS history and they nutted up and found the answer.

We are going to cheap out again

We have no issues paying top dollar for anything other than our HC in football. I have never understood why we keep looking for cheap options, but it has to end. The landscape of football is one where the right coach and budget will win, and we just refuse to play the same game as every other program trying.

I'm still furious that we let 300k keep us from Lane, I'm still furious that we didn't even call Cignetti or Lanning, I'm still furious we hired Chaggie. The list goes on and on of decisions that we knew were suboptimal just because no one wanted to try.

I am quite worried for the future for a football team, If we're going back to the offensive coordinator pool again

There is 0.000000000000000000000000% chance that Oregon's coach comes here

We can beat nobody since we dont bother fielding a defense
I mean Golesh did turn around a program that was 4-29 the 3 years before him
Green graduates this year 5th year senior

That's the most frustrating part. About 2 additional stops a game makes us 5-1 at this point.

6 stops in 4 games

Im not sure there has been a worse performance by a defense in history. 2 vs Ole Miss, 2 vs A&M, 2 vs Tennessee, 0 vs ND. Truly the worst D ever, Travis Williams should be fired 20 minutes after his next hiring.

Edit: added Ole Miss
Honestly I'm more than willing to take the chance. It cant be worse than Pittman and even if we stabilize with 7-8 wins with 9-10 every 3-4 years it would set us up well for a breakout. In 5 to 6 years as he hits his stride for his age.

I don't know how well he recruits, but I'm impressed by his resume based on his age.
Arkansas is undisputed undisciplined, but we have been absolutely hammered with the shittiest refs possible. Watch all the blown calls in the Memphis game.

Sam Pittman Appreciation Thread

While it was beyond time for Sam to go, he took a radioactive job and restored some life to the program.

By all accounts a good if not great person. Thank you for the good times.
The running joke in Medicine is that we are the high functioning autists that passed for weird.
In the 50s the diagnosis didn't exist yet, so of course it wasn't discussed then.

Edit: it did exist but was a brand new diagnosis with a very small acceptance and minimal ways of validating the diagnosis given the state of medicine at the time.

Probably the 10 TDs the 500+ yards, the absurd QBR, and the added running yards and TDs

Whole stat line 561 passing yards and 10 passing touchdowns in two games, completing 41 of 57 passes for a completion percentage of 71.9%. His 2025 season statistics also include an average of 280.5 passing yards per game and a quarterback rating (QBR) of 91.1
