2001...when UK won 2 whole games all season. Ball State and Vandy.

The one key difference is Ernest Graham would've been healthy in September vs not playing in December after Darnell Dockett "accidentally" hurt his knee in the FSU game. And Tennessee wouldn't have been a massive underdog.

And then Tennessee's last elite team ended up playing in...the Citrus Bowl.

Steve Spurrier’s last home game as head coach of Florida was 2001 against Tennessee. He lost

What are you talking about?

You worded it completely ambiguously. You said it was his last game (it wasn't) at the swamp (it wasn't) that he lost (he won his final game as a HC in the swamp)

If you want people to respond to what's in your head, put it on the keyboard.

I made a post a couple years ago about 2001 Florida. It's actually funny that it's entirely plausible, if not likely even, that the 2 best teams in UF history didn't win titles, those being 1995 and 2001. Both of those teams were fricking GOOD; 95 just happened ot face the best team that's ever existed and 01 caught a really good UT team at a bad time in a weird postponed game.

2001 Miami was probably the same level of juggernaut
