You are an idiot! The SEC is the best conference for a number of reasons. Best coaches, Best Stadiums, and most are geographically in warmer weather.
The SEC is full HOSS. The B1G or whatever you call your conference is the ugly date for the prom. You have a boring brand of football, and who the hell wants to play in freezing temps unless you have to?

ACC and SEC (and the 2 Texas schools) were all in the SIAA and the SoCon together. All this B1G blathering never mentions that the SEC and ACC schools have been tied to each other for over a century. It is like looking at the sky and not noticing the blue color.
If it was not so much fun watching karma catch up with the B1G and PAC for 30 years of unfair play, I would actually feel bad for you guys.

Stanford would be a good get for anybody but they pale in comparison to landing a private like Notre Dame
Oregon (sans Phil Night) was a nobody and probably returns to that in the future
Washington is like Illinois or Wisconsin. Not a bad get but not a great one either.
Of the 5 schools you listed, how many MNC's and NC's do they have COMBINED since the Vols won the 1st modern championship? I will wait for an answer.

Everybody wanted to go to the B1G but for one reason or another was turned down. Missouri tried real hard for admission but was denied as was Texas.
I would bet every expansion team in the SEC wished they were.
