op, for the most part i agree. LSU done everything they had to so to win, except win. they dominated the first half, but bama managed to score. the second half wasnt even close. no doubt this was metts coming out party.

Jezus Christ on a cracker. Did LSU punch holes the size of Mars through the vaunted Alabama D? Yes. Did LSU make the stops at the end of the 4th when needed? No. LSU should have won but didn't. quit bitching. MSU prepare your anus's.

Just because AJ had a bad night and Mett had a career night in a single game doesn't mean they would play the same if the teams played again.
LSU definately played well enough to win the game, but LSU didn't dominate Bama across the board, they dominated Bama in the passing game. Bama's running game was far superior last night gaining more yardage on HALF the attempts. Bama got the stops when they needed them throughout the game, LSU didn't.

This. Alabama was dominated by LSU the entire game but when it came down to it Alabama did what was needed to win and that is all that matters.
