re: Sunday SEC Baseball

I’m trying to not get too hyped up about recent baseball success. These two series wins are fantastic but…….I've been hurt before
Going forward holding onto Pettiford and Overton will be crucial for Pearl.

this team will need to be portal rebuilt but I think Steven has enough experience with that to get it done.
Playing on a Wednesday is not the mark of failure it used to be......... but it's still pretty sad

my dreams of being a professional photoshop person are dashed

when Nate Oats leaves us for Michigan State and Alabama finishes last I will try to channel LSUfreek
Haven't been good at baseball in a long long loooong time

but this crown is yours!
LSU captured the crown to become the worst team in the SEC. They replace South Carolina who won just enough to avoid a historic 2 peat.

It took a lot of effort to only win 3 games but this team was up to the task. Luckily for LSU fans they do not care, as they will inform you every time you post about the bottom of the standings.

Good luck playing as the 16 seed in the SEC tournament and may you not finish last next year.

Tough year Alabama is posting great numbers but LSU is just a step ahead

the SEC could go 1 2 3 this year

I will say Olineman and Dlineman at this level are insane

no one that big should be moving that fast

the 40 is ingrained in football but anything after 5 yards is just for skill position players

They probably just take the film for OL and see how fast they get off the line and ignore the remaining 35

We've lost 5 straight to Barnes and Tennessee

We're on a heater but I don't see Tennessee giving us quite as many open looks as State did

call it a hunch

I thought Oklahoma already had 4 wins after they beat Auburn.

one day I'll post an update without an obvious error on it

but not today
Darius Acuff is 6'3" Darryn Peterson is 6'6"

so the NBA will take Patterson first just over those 3 inches.

That being said after the draft is over you gotta go out there on the court and earn that sh*t against the best of the best and Acuff has shown heart whereas Patterson is looking soft
Ole Miss lost to LSU in a comedic overtime home loss that only a truly bad team could accomplish lifting LSU into the 3 win club and forcing a 4 way tie for last place between LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and South Carolina

Now one of LSU or Oklahoma will get to 4 wins this Saturday as they play each other.

LSU then travels to Auburn who HAS to avoid bad losses and Texas A&M who has to avoid bad losses. Oklahoma hosts a Missouri team that needs to avoid bad losses and then goes to Texas for a rivalry finale. The game on Saturday is both their best remaining chance at a W.

Ole Miss will travel to Auburn who, again, is desperately trying to avoid any more bad losses and then they will host a ranked Vandy. South Carolina travels to bubble team Georgia before hosting a ranked Tennessee.

Then those two teams will play each other to end the season.

So two of these teams are guaranteed to get to 4 wins. There's lots of tiebreaker mess to sift through after the weekend, but for now this is a four headed race to see who ends the season as the worst team in the SEC.
Did the person who posted this actually read the article? Because I don't see anyone calling anyone out?

If we want to hold on to that 4 seed we can't suffer a bad loss to State at home

Auburn's SOS is so strong but they are hanging on by a thread

gotta get that road win tonight
the reported death of Auburn basketball is premature at best

let me see what Steven Pearl does in the portal and what he does next year
Acuff is playing a lot of hero ball for sure and putting up big numbers

but it kind of feel like he has to for Arky to win those big games

I mean a first time head coach has you on the bubble it's not the end of the world

the losses aren't horrible, except for like Michigan and Arizona but they are killing everybody

Steven took a team his dad built and isn't getting wins out of it now is that because Steven sucks or because big Pearl knew this team wasn't going to gel and got out while the getting is good?

we'll know more next year

edit: the MARGIN of losses aren't horrible

Signing an NBA basketball player and having a booster judge write a temporary restraining order so bama could attempt to match Auburn in final four appearances is the definition of racing to the bottom.

there is no one lower than alabama. W/L records be damned.
