The canes overlooked bama.
I mean, I could see if there was another game on the schedule afterwards for a bigger prize...

Obviously we're at the point in the evening where these LSU fans think that if they simply repeat the same lie over and over again, the simple act of repetition will eventually — somehow — make the lie true.

It's the cope legends are made of is what it is. :casty:

Post this in a few more threads. Surely that'll make the pain go away.

Well we beat you two years ago so I’ll fact check you
I stand corrected.

Allow me to rephrase: It doesn't work consistently.

Or anywhere close to consistently, given the .380 record LSU has at home against Bama.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say that the win two years ago, given that record, is a statistical outlier, not evidence that Death Valley at Night (TM) works.

I mean, if I'm an LSU fan, I'm just about ready for them to stop scheduling Bama at night.

It's not working. It's never worked.
As far as I can recall, it originated with Arkansas posters during the Bob Petrino era.

tFlagship. :pimp:

It’s no more cringe than LSU having “Geaux” instead of “Go”

ATPB: often used to discribe a topic that is going long or epic. Refers to the As the Plains Burns post which went on for seemed like years and were about Scan Newton and corruption in Alabama
May also refer to posters ("ATPBers") — like the OP — who washed ashore like a wave of pollution — like the OP — on our gentle Rant beaches in the period immediately before, during or immediately after the Scam scandal began. :gmt:

Why are there so many threads about Auburn around here?
Because this is an SEC football message board and Auburn fields — ostensibly — an SEC football team.

ETA: It's the "ostensibly" part everyone wants to talk about.

I look at it like dropping two and a half bills on a pound of premium wagyu beef. If you leave it sitting out in the sun in August for two weeks, it's going to be just as useless as any other bullshite you leave sitting out to rot. :dunno:

Shula had talent at Bama.
It wasn't the talent that was the problem. Shula had recruited some true diamonds in the rough. It was the culture and mindset Shula had instilled in the program that proved to be a problem.

I'll say this...

The second half of that game, y'all played with a greater sense of urgency than I think I've ever seen Georgia play with on offense for my entire life.

If that becomes a trend, that... is worrying.

Just because you refuse to think about what a fricking catastrophe your football program is doesn't mean we don't want to rubberneck. :gmt:
