Texas would not be a contender without joining the SEC. The talent Texas has been able to stock would not have happened in the Big12.
Absolutely. No way Arch Manning, Colin Simmons, Anthony Hill are Longhorns if Texas was still in the Big 12.
Sark says he didn't know anything about an impending move when he was interviewing for the head coaching job, but I think its obvious he was selected precisely because DelConte and the boosters were looking for a coach with SEC experience at the highest levels.

Georgia is good enough to beat Texas but I doubt they will. Even if they did, I still think the Longhorns are the best team in the league.
Man these are just some incredible takes. Thanks

With Alabama and Georgia being down, the Longhorns are the top-level team that the league is used to.
It's almost like just the act of Texas being in a conference makes it suck. It's like they're a cancerous tumor.

We really don't know how good Ohio State is. They haven't played anyone.

Truthfully, Texas benefits from being in the SEC, and the SEC should get more $$$ in the next contract thanks to new members Texas and OU. It's mutually beneficial like all business deals should be.
Whoa, a right answer in here. That’s rare.

I fully expect Texas to have at least two losses before the end on November. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
I fully expect A&M to never win anything of significance. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

As the best conference, we thought it wise to grab ALL the best programs.
It assures our dominance as a conference until Jesus returns.
Why did yall take in another round of 2nd tier schools.....again?
Oh, I remember. 2nd tier schools improve that fat, slow conference since half it's members are 3rd tier schools.
The strong grow stronger.

How do you know they are elite? They've played nobody but the Mary mother of Grace all-girl's school for the Blind, so far.
UGA at least smacked a pretty good Clemson team that is now ranked in the top 10.

Lots of football to be played still.
