Georgia folks need not give their opinion on BBQ.
Brunswick stew is not good BBQ. It's what's left in the sink after BBQ dishes are cleaned.
Nasty shite.

One of my favorite spots. As well as corkscrew in Spring.

It's not. It's stew. It originated in Brunswick County NC, and if it ain't got squirrel in it, it's not authentic. Surprised more cajuns don't like it.
But I digress....

Nobody, and I mean nobody beats Texas when it comes to BBQ

Brisket is for Jews who can't eat pork

Thank you for the education.
If it's good, Georgia peeps are fricking it up.

I’m proud to say that I smoke a mean brisket and damn fine pork. I love them both, but beef ribs are the Cadillac. I’ve never gotten good at pork ribs, though I’ve accidentally got them right a couple of times.
Also...mustard sauce is an abomination from hell.

Something we can all agree on.

SC was making good pork BBQ when Texas was still part of Spain.
Mongolia makes better BBQ than Texas...

Mustard sauce is about the only thing that makes chick-fil-a
sandwiches edible.
sandwiches edible.

While the South Carolina mustard sauce is great, brisket is vastly superior to pulled pork and I like both. I've eaten at many bbq places in the Carolinas and they usually disappoint. Few include bark in the pulled pork and many have little smoked flavor. Some seem like they just bake it.

SC's football team may suck, but not as bad as that abomination they call BBQ in Texas.
FOREVER to Pulled pork with mustard sauce!!
What is this thing called "sauce" that you speak of?

I love pulled pork. However, it is inferior to brisket in all ways but one. Pulled pork is easy AF to make. Any jackass can make excellent PP.

Pulled pork and pork ribs are the two easiest things to BBQ. It's no wonder that they are so popular in SC.

Only sauce needed is the melted fat from the cooking process.

I judge BBQ by brisket. Pulled pork is good, but so meh in comparison

Brisket is far better by itself and pulled pork makes a better sandwich.
Even though I live in Houstkn Texas, most BBQ house briskets are way too dry.
Killen's is way overrated, The Pit Room is above average.
My brisket on my Kamado Joe is way preferred.
