Yesterday was 223 out on the par5.

It took one bounce forward and was on the greens fringe.

A really nice high shot.

I am 70 now and I only have 5 rounds now since my neck surgery.
I played with it for the first time yesterday. I can't say it's fool proof because I can mess up any shot at any time.

I can say it amazed me a couple of times yesterday with the ball height and the distance. I thought that I was just getting into a short chip position on a par 5 and it ended up on the fringe of the green.

Super easy to hit and the stock shaft was good.

I updated my witb.
Probably not your issue, but I couldn't make a 3 footer with the Spider ZT putter.

I don't know why that was unless the offset made me push it.

Hope you get it figured out.

I don't know how some of these courses demand such a huge green fee.

It's really unbelievable. We thought about playing the Oaks in San Antonio until they told us the green fee.

I have played several courses that required you take a forecaddy and it was a nice experience.

I remember playing Kapula Plantation twice years ago for $90.00, now I hear it's $450.00, it a great course, but not $300.00 better.
You can do a drove view of Wolf Creek on YouTube.

Awesome course with some crazy tee boxes.

I loved the 2019 TP5 Ball, then it changed.

Review -

I played the 2026 TP5 ball Saturday and it is as good as any ball on the market IMO now .

I play a yellow ball and my biggest complaint was the paint job got dirty quickly. That is not the case now with the new paint technology on the 2026 balls.

It got windy on the back nine and the ball performed very well .

As far as distance, it was as good as any other premium ball. I hit what I thought was a fat 9 iron and I was surprised that it carried to the pin.

A very good feeling ball off the irons and the putter.

The pricing is ridiculous just like other premium balls. For that reason only, I will probably stick with the TM Tour Respone ball for every day rounds.

I don't understand what Burns strategy was on 18.

With his length, he could have gotten home in two with a 3 wood off the tee.

I agree.

We should all get behind a great story like that.

It's not like the PGA Tour hasn't had its share of drunks and drug abusers in its past.

I really like the Hyatt Hill Country course too.

Then LaCantera is your best bet.
The PGA Tours scoring average has improved by 5.5 shots compared to the 60's. About 10%.

While most of the courses are longer in length, technology and fitness has overcome that.

While the balls are definitely longer today, the biggest thing with balls today is that they fly so much straighter than the balls 30 years ago.

Really just the luck of the draw, we had a meeting with HEB and my boss took 3 of us to the opening of the Palmer course and Arnie was there at the dedication of the Winnie Bridge.
I had a set of Hogan Edge irons. They were beautiful looking out of the box and I liked the Hogan shafts too.

Don't know about you, but here we can get some rough tee boxes when we don't get enough rain.

And ever since covid, people forgot what a sand bottle is used for...
When the Callaway Warbirds woods came out there was a golf shop called TPG golf in Houston on Westheimer that catered to the wealthy Mexican and Asian crowd.

I was there when a guy from Japan bought every Warbird wood in the shop and had them shipped to Japan.

At least 30 clubs.

LaCantera resort course is a fun play for the 1st time. After the round head to the bar and get the Chili Rubbed Filet and a nice cocktail.

I loved the Palmer course at LaCantera, I hate that they closed it. I saw the biggest rattlesnake there.

The TPC is very expensive to say the least.

The Quarry is not bad in April. It is a death trap inferno in July and August.

There was one at Tour 18 when it opened for sure.

I heard of another at Augusta Pines years ago and the card table in the men's locker room.
