Texas and Oklahoma will grow stronger as Texas A&M grows weaker.

Discuss.

I think Texas will grow stronger; but that’s because I think , like Lane, Sark has figured out what’s important to him now.

I think the move, while monetarily will be great; on field success will be difficult for OU. The years of owning the conference are over; they will be a 2nd tier team in the SEC.

While Texas AM is all about their “culture”. That is the thing Elko needs to change the most. A&M is historically more about holding to their culture than winning games. That has to change or nothing will.

I'll claim some damage. State next year doesn't even play 3 teams its played for as long as I can remember; LSU, Alabama and Auburn. Screw Oklahoma and Texas and covered wagon and cow they road in on.

That would be your school’s administration that voted yes & then extended Sankey because they like his leadership.

You sure can. But folks acting like this was forced on the poor existing schools by big bad Sankey. He was obviously doing their bidding, which means admins don’t care about their fans’ disdain so long as folks pay up and tune in.

agreed, this sucks, but the blame is the SEC office, not Texas or OU or anyone else

They very easily could have come up with a schedule to make everyone happy for 1-2 years until something more permanent could have been determined.

For example…
Add Texas to the West
Add OU to the East

Play 7 division + 1 across

All important games are played.

Maybe it isn’t a long term solution, but neither is the schedule they came up with.. so point those fingers somewhere else..

I don't know about weaker...they have already proven that recruiting at a high level didn't improve their lot in life.

They are historically insignificant in CFB. The GOAT Coach of all time couldn't win at a high level at ATM. Their arrogance knows no bounds...they thumbed their noses at Stoops and pretend that Duke's coach is Saban in waiting. No outside influence can harm them as bad as they harm themselves...

What part of "the culture" has to do with winning football games?

Like every NCAA football team we're one head coach away from success.

A&M's success or failure will be independent of tu and OU.
